Nice video! I was wondering how would you compare the Servonaut M24 and SM7 sound module to the Tamiya MFC 01 and 03? Use of Servonaut allows the Tamiya trucks to have the front seating and dash board etc?
Jeremy Pete Thank you for your kind words. At some point I shall have to do a new one, though. I have been using the Servonaut HS-12 for the past 12 months!
Tjasnls for the video, its persuaded me to go Servonaut rather than Tamiya MFU. Quick question though, could you tell me the make of the flat bed van that is in the background? Is it rc?
Hi Ben. Glad I could help. Servonaut offers some brilliant products and their speed controllers are not to be topped. I'm really looking forward to the release of their own-brand transmitter later this year and will be replacing my MC-19 with one as soon as possible. Do you mean the red MB Sprinter? It's a non-rc child's toy from Bruder which I have converted to RC. Look on my videos and you'll find a couple of films about it. The latest video of it I have posted shows it with the Beier USM-RC-2 sound unit (which I fitted in place of the original Servonaut SMT unit as the Beier unit has a Sprinter sound and so sounds more "realistic").
Sorry for the delay in replying, I have only just seen your comment. The van is a toy from the company Bruder which I have converted to RC using a chassis from HVG Modellbau. Hope this helps
Hi. The transmitter is a Graupner MC-19 which I bought 2nd hand. I then fitted the Servonaut Zwo4 bit (easy to do) which is on the top left of the TX. On the top right you can fit which ever standard Graupner switches you need for your model. RX was the Servonaut 9 channel one but again you can use any Servonaut RX - just depends on how many channels you need. However, I no longer have this set up - I now use Servonaut's HS-12 TX which I can highly recommend!
+steviehopper Thanks Stevie, I have a Volvo and am currently using the Tamiya MFC03 which I have modified to put extra LEDS in and am wanting more control over the individual lights and indicators as at moment they only operate on turning which to me is unrealistic I also want to be able to control some rotating hella beacons as well as some windscreen wipers so need the extra control. but am totally lost as it looks so complicated
+john clayton Well I would highly recommend the HS-12 transmitter from Servonaut which also works really well with the MFC if you decide to keep it. Go to their website, you can download a copy of the user manual to get an idea as to how it works. They also have how-to videos on their RUclips site. I haven't yet made a video of that tx but could do one if you'd like (although my DAF is in the middle of a rebuild so would have to demo it with the Sprinter). If you need more help, search for Southwest RC Truckers dot co dot uk. It's a little UK-based forum. I'm a member there and it'll be easier for me or others to give tips there than via RUclips.
Hi Steven, I assume you've used something else for flash mainbean, right? I just tested it on my M20+ it doesn't have flashing function like yours does :-)
Hi, Chris. Yeah the M20+ just controls sidelights, headlights, brake/reverse lights and indicators. For the fog lights, roof lights and mainbeam/flash I had the MM4 from Servonaut. The DAF is currently being completely rebuilt at the moment though and I'm currently not sure whether to stick to Servonaut light/sound, switch to Beier (like in my Sprinter) or go to Kraftwerk for lights and Servonaut for sound. But as progress is currently slow it'll be sometime until I need to make a decision.
+steviehopper Hi Stevie, there are bus-lights made by Pistenking as good as Kraftwerk which I've had on my truck. I heard that Servonaut will be releasing their new ESC M24 featuring Xenon effects and cruise control can be off with Servonaut card.
+Chris 1210 hi, Chris. Yes, I've seen the Pistenking ones. They're possibly a little better than the system from Kraftwerk but much more expensive. The new ESC from Servonaut will be out in April (I think). As you say, looks pretty good. Sadly thenstructions are not yet on their website but in the blurb, the settings (eg cruise control) can also be altered using their HS-12 tx as well. Certainly looks interesting but if I decide to fit the Beier system, then I'll only need the E20 ESC from Servonaut. But I'm finding so little time at the mo that progress is really slow.
+steviehopper Yes, I'm interested in Beier as well and thinking of getting one for my King Hauler. How do you like your Beier? How big is it compared to Servonaut? Thanks
Woooooow this is very very realistic
Thanks 💚
I like that car behind
excellent

Awesome dude! I want this so so bad...
Does the Servonaut electronics work with the Tamiya trailer light system and motorized support legs?
wonderful video I love it

where do you get this cabin and what scale is it ?
Hi, the cab is made by the German company Wedico and the scale is approximately 1:16 (so slightly smaller than the Tamiya models).

What items did you buy to get this setup including radio transmitter and receiver

Show,,,,,
Where do you buy it?
Most of my stuff comes from Racing Modellbau (CH), Schleiss Modellbau (CH) or Fechtner Modellbau (D). Hope this helps.
Thanks
Can i email you please?
