Totally with you on blue skies & sunshine despite the cold Lee. Re disabilities; recently been travelling locally on buses due to the car being repaired. There are stickers above the disabled seats stating "Not all disabilities are visible."
The last time I was on the subway in NYC, the Police piled on at one of the stops and arrested a group of lads around me. Quick as a flash they were all removed and gone and the train carried on. Its always an adventure :)
A nice aspect I used to like, after being away on my hols and driving different vehicles, was getting back in my own car, and getting used to and enjoying it all over again.
Hi lee. Watch all your videos. I'm quite pleased with your visit to the USA. You found the Blackpool boat tram in san Fransisco. You've done a fantastic job as always. Thank you so much as I am 77 now and can't get around so much. I look forward to seeing your videos along with Steve from (a walk on the wild side). You're both great to watch. 😊.
I truly enjoyed the lights at New York as you left and flying into the UK, I enjoy that myself sometimes, there is so much beauty in this world, from the lights at night, the sun rising and falling, the Rocky Mountains and the blue seas, then we have greed and murder, I just wish everyone would take a step back and enjoy the moment and the Beauty that's all around us, we need to be at Peace.
Good Evening Lee. I really Loved and Admired your Excellent footage of the whole Incredible journey from JFK Airport, the Onboard Flight, your meal and some of the Inside with the other Passengers. Very Lovely comfortable Leather seating and a very nice Window look out of. I really hope the those two Passengers and yourself Recovered fully from Medical Issues Lee. I could have been, a slight drop in the cabin pressure. I am Glad to hear that you are alright Lee. It is very Lovely to Fly somewhere nice Abroad, but is always Lovely to come Home. I bet, that You really missed your vehicle a lot. Not only that, but You can not wait to see and be with Your Family again Lee. You always Produce such Awesome and Professional Flight Movie's that are really are so Good to Watch and Admire your Top Quality Skill and Superb Editing. Have a very Safe journey back home to Your Family. Thank you very much Lee. Jonathan/ Peterborough.
Welcome home Lee enjoy your time with your family once again ignor all these bad /sad comments we still enjoy your vlogs so onwards my friend might meet up in Notts ❤
Highly entertaining and informative video. I come from the UK and live in New York but I'm unable to travel due to health issues so to see how transatlantic travel has changed is fascinating. Great job.
Life without the silver fox isn’t worth living. Martin is just the best and the chemistry you both have is fantastic Although that is me being selfish you deserve your privacy mate you work hard
i enjoy your videos, Lee. Thanks. I'm amused to see that the people responsible for information signs at Heathrow Airport don't know the difference between formerly and formally and that no-one in England has corrected them.
A man who spends his life flashing his watch at screens to book things, pay for things, check information , is asking where have all the people gone !! Comedy gold
I had the " is there a doctor on board" announcement on a BA flight back from Vancouver but despite the best efforts of a doctor and 2 paramedics that were on board and the excellent crew, the poor chap passed away.
Lee, I had to laugh, Hershey kisses with almonds. "Don't mess with perfection." I find that Hershey chocolate is NOT perfection.😮 Inferior to Cadbury or Galaxy. Great vlog, though.😊
I reckon you were 100% correct, the previous flight was cancelled as it was not full and therefore cheaper to consolidate the flights. Why is it that breakfasts on most flights are such utter crap ?
You have reminded me of our 2nd or 3rd trip to LAX must have been about 2011 or so, we were in economy..middle seats, about 30 mins from LAX, when I looked at my son, and realised he had passed out (in the seat) panicking pressed the call button, Virgin staff were brilliant, there in 10 seconds, then got the oxygen for him, and he came around, a bit dozy and pale, also had to fill forms in ! But I think it did get us a direct priority in landing ! Also think we were supposed to wait for everyone to get off too , but he said he felt fine, so we just joined everyone else getting off, passing a couple of Ambulance staff by the door ! Oops! When we got into arrivals and out of the airport doors, there was an ambulance with its lights going parked up....we made a hasty walk to the rental car shuttle bus ! That has always stuck in my mind, but it was so hot in the cabin, which I think is what triggered it, so was your flight 'hot' in economy? Since then have always paid the extra for Premium Econ, don't want anymore scares like that ! Just to end by saying...great video as always Lee, makes me want to jump on a plane to the U.S ! :-)
Thanks Lee Really enjoyed this vlog. 20/20. I always look forward to watching your vlogs and chilling when I get in from work. Safe travels my friend 😅 take care x
Virgin Atlantic Upper Class was once explained to me as being between BA Business Class and First Class. I’ve flown Upper Class a few times and loved it. One time on the way back from Dubai they let my cousin, who chose to fly economy come to the bar. We sat there most of the flight drinking champagne and having a great time with the lovely crew 😀.
Way back in 1981, I was able to fly business class non-stop from San Francisco, CA to Boston, MA to attend an industrial automation symposium. Business class was the lap of luxury. Huge plush seats that fully reclined, 1st class food and wine to drink, all came as part of the flight payment. Airlines had not yet figured out how to nickel and dime their customers!
The 330-900 " 339 " the fuselage is made of plastic to reduce the weight of the aircraft . Good man yourself !!! Christy 🇮🇪/🇵🇹 👍 P.S. This plane is brand new & was introduced to the fleet Aug 2024 . Safe ONWARDS !
I’ve watched and really enjoyed all your “American adventure” videos. The highlight for me being the visit to Alcatraz. All good stuff, looking forward to more 🎥 👏🏼 👏🏼
Lee Pays to eat in expensive restaurants, eg : Las Vegas buffet over £120, burgers for £30, buys an EV for a million squid but won’t take an Uber that’s surging and gives the metered Taxi a miss altogether ?🙈 good vid tho & don’t put me in the hate vid,, I’m on your side 👍🏻onwards
I flew over to JFK on the A330-9 with Virgin in 63 on the isle 🤣 brilliant flight the aircraft was only 3 weeks old . Ps it looked like your suitcase had the better of you on the subway . Great vlog.😃👍
Another great set of videos on your latest Trip Lee. I did feel you were a little bit harsh about the hotel in Las Vegas though. Even the first room didn’t look that bad to me. Both looked quite clean to me, does it matter that much being a little dated? Anyway, a fabulous trip which we enjoyed watching so much, now we can’t travel ourselves any longer. You are making the most of being able to travel and thank you for all the work to bring all the various stages of the trip to us.
I always use the Long Island Railroad between JFK and Manhattan, via the Air Train, although I favour Grand Central Madison. Contactless only became available on the Air Train within the last year and it’s made a huge difference.
Virgins upper class (which is excellent by the way) is kind of in between business class and first on British Airways say. Virgin’s Premium is still better than BA premium - but the gap has narrowed. Virgin is just a nice airline though. As long as you’re not travelling in cattle class of course!
You definitely make some great points of view Lee. I don't know how we actually survived growing up in the seventies without our bottle of water, especially when we are out first thing in the morning 🌄 until 10 at night 😂😂😂😂 it's just become a status thing, which is actually ridiculous. Thanks for another brilliant adventure. Dave
Remember transatlantic planes and other commercial aircraft have medical diagnostic devices and other medical equipment like a defibrillator on board. So next to a hospital your probably in the best place. So please remember to have medical insurance, as a plane being diverted is ruddy expensive.
Hi Lee. Ross from Sydney Australia. Another great video. Nose bleed? I reckon that's from exhaustion. Loved how you have the captain's voice continuous while the image changes when taking off from New York. Great editing! Now how about coming to Sydney, renting an EV and driving to Perth. I dare you!!
You make me want to travel ! Make me want to fly, Great vlog as usual. You breeze through airport protocols with ease as you should do given the number of times you’ve flown 😂
You’re actually much quicker than taking an Uber on the train Lee. When we were there at New Year last year took us two hours from Manhattan to JFK and $180. If I didn’t have two kids a wife and 4 cases in tow would have definitely gone for the train.
Mr Mac, according to the official JFK website, a flat fare for a Taxi is $65-75 depending on the time of day, and road toll etc, much cheaper than an Uber.
Lee that's my first youtube journey with you from start to finish. It was brilliant. I for one don't mind the old clickbait, I get its just a way of gaining attention and why not, your here to make money after all. I've just had a holiday to the U.S. without leaving my house , thanks mate 👌🦖

If you think an announcement 'is there a doctor on board?' is bad, you really have to start worrying when they ask 'is there a pilot on board?'.
Surely you can’t be serious 😂
...and don't call surely!
😂😂😂
I’m ok on MS Flight Simulator, will that do?

Evening hun those seats look a lot better than the other plane that you were on very plush and they look a lot cumfyer and cleaner xxx❤
I used Newark New jersey. Then got the Staten island ferry.
Much easier than trekking across NY.

Regarding taxi costs, it's a $70 flat rate for yellow cabs to go from Manhattan to JFK - never get an Uber in this situation.
I wouldnt risk sushi from an automat just before getting on a plane for a long flight! Sounds like tempting fate.
