Jo and Zoe, this is by far best explanation for The Drama Triangle. This theory/model is fascinating to me and I try to keep reminding myself where I am unconsciously in different situations but I always end up recognizing after the fact. My quest as new practicing coach and eager to learn these subconscious roles and behaviour, how do I explain this to clients who may not be familiar with this concept?

Hi Shawzia, thanks for your feedback, my guidance would be to keep it simple and introduce the roles and ask your client if they relate and how they may see themselves in those roles. Do emphasize that we all play all roles, it's more of a case of where they show up for us and whether that is helpful or unhelpful to us. :)

Really fascinating. I'm new to Transactional Analysis but have enjoyed watching your videos on it. Are they any books you'd recommend to read to understand more? Thanks :)

Thanks Suzi. TA books are a bit of a heavy read, but you could try TA Today and Games People Play :)
