- Out of 18 million registered voters, a record 2.8 million voters have cast their ballots in the first four days of early voting in Texas, including mail-in voters.

CenTex Hill Country very small county pollworker here. Of the 2k+ people who voted through my polling place M-F of early voting, the only ones who could not vote were ~12 GOP voters - literally no idea that they were not registered, or registered in another county and thought that was okay, or registered within the last week (deadline was Oct 7 and you had to live under a rock to not know that with all the publicity), or thought we had same-day registration. Clueless, just as HE likes 'em.
Pollworker me was upset for them. I do want everyone to vote, regardless.
Dem me was thrilled, OF COURSE.
And yes, hundreds of miles away, the Tarrant County story created issues for us. At minimum 1/10 people asked about vote-switching. It took valuable time away from us and the phony gossip on that caused people unnecessary worry.

Just more GOP exploding with enthusiasm while Dems enthusiasm is the lowest I have seen it in decades
I think early voter records are due to the enthusiasm to get this disaster of an administration out of our WH ASAP!!!! That was my reason for voting early in TEXAS!!!!🤠🤠🤠
Inflation back down to 3%, record low unemployment and nearly a million new manufacturing jobs, $35 insulin and negotiating other drugs lower, rural broadband and massive infrastructure work…. Oh yeah, this administration has been a failure. BS!
