    I didn't actually know that Katee was the voice actor for Bo Katan too! That must be a surreal feeling. Voicing a character for years on an animated cartoon and then finally being suited up as her. She pulled off the live-action so well!

    What really separates this from the sequels, at it’s core, isn’t the redeemed Luke Skywalker and what not. It is the passion. Look at everyone’s faces behind the scenes. They are there, making good Star Wars content, and you can feel the passion of the actor and the directors, and the backstage people in every episode

      @rkbkirin5975 3 года назад +39

      What also separates it are people who have actually watched Star Wars. Not just viewed the movies, but *watched* them. Abrams may have seen the films, but he has no memory or zero grasp of them. (Much less any of the animated shows that have kept the franchise going for so many years). He couldn't even remember to be consistent within his own movies - Let's show Rey lifting up boulders, then have completely forget she has Force powers so she sinks into a pit of pebbles.
      But you are completely right about passion. Like when the 2nd Director is talking about the classic Star Wars 'pew-pew' gunfight. That's a fan. And then Favreau has the brilliant idea of making Mando look like he's tagging along trying to keep up with Bo-katan's well-oiled team. You can tell these people look at Star Wars with joy, not as a franchise cash-cow.

    So incredibly epic.
    I can only imagine what it is like to be a performer on that show.
    Absolutely amazing.
    Huge kudos to everyone involved in the production - from writers, crew, actors, guest directors and of course, Dave and Jon who have given us the star wars we have waited 40 years for.
    And thank you geroge for giving us childhood dreams which have now come to beautiful reality.

    I can’t express how much I love seeing Katee Sackhoff’s fangirl reaction to playing her character Bo Katan Kryze who she voiced in the two animated Star Wars series in live action. Furthermore, it’s amazing and ironic that Jon Favreau is the one to introduce her and be one of the writers/producers of The Mandalorian series given that he did the voice of her characters former leader Pre Vizsla in the Clone Wars series and now they’re getting to see and work together in person.
    I am definitely reacting the same as Katee right now, I’m so glad she has the opportunity to grace Star Wars fans screens in person as her character.

    I love the irony of having an actress with one of the most radiant smiles in entertainment as a character who not only never smiles, but also has her face hidden in a helmet most of the time. It speaks highly of Katee Sackhoff's acting skills.
