Telling from the comments, it seems that Beast is either pretending to be someone else or that Beast has a doppelganger, someone that looks exactly like him but isn't related to him. Adam may be related to Beast either as a twin or cousin.

It's all about his anger because of her lie and his incapability to tell her the truth and to be with her all the time. Just like you said. And, in the end of the day, his acceptance and humility cause his love turns to be much stronger than his pride.

Beast knows this and Belle knows he knows, and she's ashamed of her two-timing but she still sees Adam. And then she decides to kill Beast to end both of their misery. But then Beast turns into Adam? As I said, I am very confused.
