This is about my perfect vehicle, 4wd diesel manual SUV, I just can't stomach the Toyota tax. Soon as these guys get a Pajero in with a manual and for half the price of this LC, I'll jump on it.
possible to find by custom order , manual tranny usually rare, if you like pull trigger DM us
Лайк с меня как всегда
Great off-road SUV. I’d swap the engine with a Mercedes-Benz OM617 Turbo Diesel Inline 5. Analogue engine is easy to swap, no electronics.
Why spoil a car, and Toyota has a great diesel engine
@@AdolfAdolfovich1375 The OM617 Turbo is, ultimately, the better engine. They can run for well over a million miles with minimal maintenance, they have cast iron heads, they were designed to be infinitely serviceable (use cylinder sleeves, machinable cranks, inline Bosch MFI pumps, etc), they’re analogue (no electronics, no ecu, no electric pumps, etc, they’re much more powerful and torquey.
Nope, been there done that. Not recommended. Wish I'd stuck with a Toyota engine.
Nissan TD42 or 1HDT same 6 inline have cast iron heads@@stoneylonesome4062
@@jdmcarandmotorcycle Nissan Diesels from the 80’s/90’s were alright, but, they had a belt-driven MFI pump. Imagine what happens if that belt fails. Classic Mercedes Diesels used timing chains, which were one of the toughest components in the engine. Back in my home country, Albania, almost half the country drives a classic Mercedes, many of them Diesels, and I’ve only ever seen a couple timing chains in Diesels that have failed, and it was usually because someone crimped the master link wrong and caused that failure.
