    if you prepare this a day before just saute all the ingredients and put everything in the oyster shells wrap it and refrigerate .... then all you need to do is bake and serve day of the party.

    The only thing i did differently was add a clove of garlic with the onion and doubled the recipe for a dozen oysters, but man were they delicious! Thanks for the recipe

      Normally I just use a green scrubby and just elbow grease but can take off the finish..... I tried Easy Off on them and that worked pretty well. But still does a little damage to the sheet pans... I'll make a video on cleaning them. Thanks for watching

    Charbroiled Oyster Rockefellar:
    Chuck 2 dozen oysters, use nylon block retaining the liquid and filter through coffee filter and save. baste the oysters with melted garlic butter on the gas grill for 5 minutes (or so) and place them on a tray and top with cooked spinach, a tsp of Absenthe, and drizzle Romano cheese over each oyster.
    place back on grill and pour oyster liquid to overflow each oyster shell and cook until browned 1/2 inch from edge of the oyster shells. Serve with garlic butter and a warm french baguette.

      I'm so sorry for any confusion. This is just my variation of Rockefeller that all my customers would enjoy. Especially if you had a gluten allergy. I'll change the name ASAP to GLUTEN-FREE Non-traditional Rockefeller. Thanks for watching

      Don't be such a lousy boomer, these are pefectly fine to call oysters rockefeller. I don't get an aneurysm when someone leaves out some. carbohydrates on my plate

      So... let's be a little more helpful here instead of just tearing him down - what do you think need to be done differently? I did notice that he didn't add bacon, which I'm finding in a lot of other Rockefeller recipes. But other than that it seemed pretty similar.

      Looks good to me. Everyone has their version. Some use more cheese or other ingredients. I like this one it's a light cream sauce, so you actually taste the oyster. 😋
