To me it was worth it, it was one of the first things i bought that were not made by Bethesda 👍🏻 thing looks good and leaves plenty of space to make it your own. Perfect addition to the battlestations 2x2 or to replace the 1x2 captains quarters👍🏻🤜🏻
I regret having bought this with my credits. It's not worth it at all. Even the guy who made an addon for it... None of his habs even look anything like this.
For 10 USD we should have gotten an entire ship laid out in the Ancient Mariner style. Plus the multiple habs u mentioned. Plus the new items. Then. Maybe.
For sure $10 for 1 2x2 hab granted 2 variations 1 empty 1 furnished but, still not worth $10 for 1 hab. I agree if it was a whole ship plus multiple habs and hab variantiond then possibly till then I won’t buy it
Don’t be stingy mate. These days you can barely get McDonalds meal for $10. At least these items can be used whenever you want for the rest of your play throughs.. small bit of happiness is worth $10. For Christ sakes there are people who waste triple that shit on a beer or pack of cigarettes for a hour of happiness.. that’s something to complain about. Not a mod that someone worked hard on.
@@cs01998 I downloaded this mod for free it was leaked on different websites. And installed it on my cracked version of the game which was also free. For a F2P game with free DLC I can say Starfield is a pretty decent game.
Oh hay, this is the first I've heard of it adding passenger slots. I have been treating it as a Demo Hab for an Item Pack. ...which it still is, but now it serves an actual function on its own. Still too expensive. You nailed it I think. If it had been a full Hab set and Item Pack, I could see the price point, especially with the wooden walls. But as-is, the biggest draw is the Infinite Storage place-able chest, and I can get a preset generic one as part of Elianora's Hab Pack for half the price.
As far as I understand it the ship doesn't set the number of crew slots you can use . That's all tied to your character , and the most I've ever been able to get it to is 6 . Someone will likely make a mod that fixes that . And make it so that the number of crew you can take is dependent on the ship instead of the character .

Two, skills dictate the MAXIMUM number of crew that can be on a ship, while specific habs dictate how much ROOM for crew there is on the ship. The cap, barring a specific skill on the crewmember themselves, is 8.
$10 should be a full new hab addition. 1x1, 2x1s, 2x2s, 2x3, 3x2, 3x1s, 3x3, bridge, cockpit, landing bay, and like a wrap around skyview 2x5 or something unique
Not only all of the Habs, but also the ability to change from teak to oak, maple, pine, cherry or mahogany for the paneling and beams. And since it’s The Ancient Mariner, shouldn’t there be those huge windows that were at the stern of the vessels???
I'm more bothered by the fact that it's only 2 variants of 1 size than anything else. I would expect with the price for it to be for all sizes/variants
I'm crazy I guess, but I find it worth it for the extra lighting options alone. The lighting options in the game were lousy, but these are great and I've been using them in all my outposts. And the hab itself is gorgeous. Perfect captain's quarters.
To me it's not really expensive it's less than a trip to Mcdonalds or about 2 coffee's from a place with a barista $10 isnt alot of money it doesn't get me much at all. That being said I totally agree locking lights behind a paywall when you don't really have any other options is a lack in judgment on bethesda they could have released some slightly more generic modern lights in the patch at the very least for everyone. yes i know there are light in game but they are horrible and only belong at a construction site not a ship. lastly It would have been a better value to everyone in the end if they had just waited and included at least a 2x1 and a 3x1 with it honestly for playability in game. All that said yeah i did buy, yes i use the hab when i can and definitely like and enjoy the interior asset pieces.

For a Bethesda sponsored creation for 10 USD being just a bare bones 2x2, empty 2x2, and furniture is so LAZY. Really Bethesda? You could have made an entire ship mod with this aesthetic then it would be worth it.
i love how it looks but i cant justify the price for the amount included and if i give them money they will think its okay. if they had just added a couple more habs with it like a 2X1 and 1x1 in the same style i could maybe justify picking it up
imo for 10€ there should have at least been a few more modules with the vibe so you can actually make a ship that feels like an old ship in the interior but this is just one room in the entire ship, adding a 2x1 and or corridors would've made it much better for the price it has
Definitely over priced. One new hab and some decorations. For half the price of this one you can get Crimson Fleets habs with an S as in multiple plus a handy mission terminal for crimson fleet so you don't have to go to the Key to pick up more.
Yea it’s good but not $10 good I mean ELi’s crimson o e is half the amount and why more habs and she just updated hers to boot. Again I say it’s nice but not worth it imho

Ahhh. Now introducing, from the company that gave us $12 refrigerators in Fallout 76, a brand new Hab that completely violates the NASAPunk aesthetic. I'm so excited that I missed the purchase button when I tried to click it. 😂 If this is how Bethesda is going to monetize adding ship parts, I will be sticking with vanilla plus a few mods.
To each their own. I think it looks infinitely better than NASA-craptastic or whatever you called it. I just wish it would have had a whole suite of stuff to do a whole ship in an aesthetic that doesn't look like plastic.
I'm an xbox player, so I'm thankful the creation kit has finally been released and mod authors can start porting over to xbox... That said, I'm not modding my game for another few months, that is, until the marketplace has balanced out and hopefully weeded out the overpriced paid mods. I'm not against paid mods, but I am against getting taken advantage of. Thankfully we have reviewers like you that show these mods and what they are before we purchase. It helps immensely and I thank you for the time and effort of putting this video together.
For that price, the least they could have done was animate the record player and have lit candles. And yes, you’re right. The empty one should have been just a variant.

I really wish the stolen art work contraband was actual artwork sometimes, like an actual portrait that you could hang in your ship or in your outpost or apartment. It would be cool if it was a one off and they designed the companions so that they could comment on it when seeing it and think that it must be a print or a fake. Or maybe Sarah going full Indiana Jones like she does on Marco Graziani’s ship in the Freestar Questline saying “it belongs in a museum” lol.
What passes me off is Achievements. Only Bethesda made mods get flagged Achievement Friendly. So any other mod with similar features in a non cheat way disables Achievements.
It'd be crazy if the Adoring Fan broke out into sea shanties once you enter the hab, or when you fly with it attached to your ship. And I could imagine a pirate captain character who prefers some class rather than grunge look unlike the Crimson Fleet. Who assembles his or her own crew. If only it weren't 1000 creation points, one thing to be a paid mod another to bring it up like that in price. 1000 creation points for me is $17.95 in Australia, which could rather go for some food or a DLC of another game. Enjoy if you decide to get it, but unless I got money to burn - too rich for my blood.
I dont personally play warzone, but as its a free to play game they can usually charge what they like. In this video I was only giving my opinion. Ultimately that shouldn't matter to anyone who wants to buy this or any other item in the paid store
Couple of concerns, Can the NPCs in your ship actually use the furnishings ie Sit on the chairs , Sleep on the beds? I would actually prefer a modern streamlined furnished mod, our characters are way in the future.
I find it quite funny how people complain about the cost of some of these mods. The same people complaining about the prices are also the same people that want $15+ minimum wage, yet don't want to pay others for their time.

Should have 2 hab wide cockpit to design a ship around the 2x2 size hab too.
It technically is just cause someone finally released a mod for it but you need to have this one to get the other free mod to work

Of course it should be seperate and easily identifiable - there are people who get lost in a single room. Like Moara ship boarding quest.

They will sit on chairs and interact with most objects, I'm not sure about beds though, I've never seen any of my crew using the beds

Agree pricey compared to other more in-depth mods which are in many cases, free.
