    Very cool! It’s like a mandola but an octave up. Is it difficult to play past the seventh fret? It’s very small.

    Your play sounds great, yet I wonder why it is called a Piccolo Mandolin, since it as the standard tuning🤔

      Thanks so much! It's actually tuned a 4th higher than a standard mandolin. A regular mandolin is tuned GDAE and this piccolo is tuned CGDA, as if you were playing across the 5th fret of a normal mandolin. Like a mandola an octave higher! :)

      @@RobertRedBard It is a little scary to tune up when you're putting on new strings because the tension is so high. It just uses standard light mandolin strings too!

      Thanks Ben! This is the first one I've played of Mike's mandolins, but it's super well made and I'm sure the rest of his instruments are too!
