I have to say I totally agree with Claudia's points. I'm hetero BW and a lot of flagrant gay men over exaggerate femineity to the point of being clownish. Ive had a lot of straight BM say why do flagrant gay men do "all that' like I don't know actual women who act like that. I get it if you are "on stage" but IRL its excessive. No BW I know is looking to emulate that. We are inherently feminine and don't need men to 'show' how to be who we naturally are. Also, there shouldn't be division but you see a lot of gay men are as petty as women so then there's that. With pettiness, either party is always going to go for what they think will cut the deepest. And while I don't think targeting a man's sexuality is necessary, most legit straight men don't want to be seen as gay to the straight women they are hopping to attract.

I agree with Claudia. Unfortunately the lines are becoming blurred and I think some are confused. A comment was made about competing for space. A man can not compete with a natural born woman for women's space no matter the style of dress, wig, makeup, whatever. At the end of the day Black people need to quit competing against each other in a negative way, and help pull each other up.
Yes Claudia!!! Femininity and womanhood is more than just make up, nails and clothes. I agree that gay black men are responsible for a lot of trends that are commercialized but some of these trends in my opinion, are not flattering on women. We have opened spaces for gay black men and it sucks that we get disrespect in return.
My mother taught me how to be a woman, a true woman. I watched her do her hair, and her makeup. I saw her get dressed and didn't have to tuck anything(no shade. She was the one the taught me how to love myself first, because she was a single mother. I learned from other black women on RUclips about makeup and hair textures. I researched and studied the rest. And all of these icons that you name a lot of gay men actually portray them in some of their shows like the Diana Ross and Dorothy Dandridge. Drag shows are based off of famous women well how is it that gay men have told us how to be feminine and how is it that we're mimicking them? I'm confused. Even a gay man's gestures are that of like a woman men don't flooded their eyes and have a switch to when they walk in thrusting their hips side to side in a feminine manner men don't do that women do that to lure men into their trap so I don't know what saucy is talking about 🤣🤣

As a black woman, our physical attributes are a microcosm of all the things we are. Our looks are a grain of sand on the beach that makes up our femininity. Our wombs have birthed nations, our breasts have fed everyone's children, our arms comfort anyone in need, our backs have been the foundation for this country, our blood, sweat and tears have been the life blood of the world. Our pain and ability to invent something out of nothing has fueled invention. Even at our worst, we've given our best. Our femininity is too complex to be explained away by trends, exagerrated or not, elevated or not. All of this without the influence of ANYONE else but those women who came before us and our internal roadmap...our poets, singers, models, actresses, lawyers, doctors, scientists, etc are the examples of the wide array of our femininity.... Claudia Said what needed to be said. Besides, you can't compete where you don't compare.
Thank you Claudia for keeping it💯 There is no way in hell that a gay man or even straight man for that matter, can tell a woman how to be a woman! And l hate the term cis-woman/ women. I am a woman PERIOD!

Speak Claudia! I’m going to tell you the truth I was not the biggest fan of yours before but I am going to watch you every time now because I respect that you stood up because there are a lot of times when we women are not really standing up to gay men because to be truthful about it sometimes were scared of the backlash when we do speak against the gay and trans community. I love many of my gay men and i have a trans daughter but the truth is the truth. We as women are the blueprint of all WOMEN. Let’s not forget that all people gay or straight, born a woman or trans woman came from a woman!
We can also talk about how some gay men exploit the loneliness of some rich women. So they use them as accessories and they use them for access to $$ and lifestyle. Everyone can do better.
When you wear makeup, women clothes, weaves and go through these drastic surgeries to look like a woman, that means The women is the blueprint. It’s no in between, Rather you think a man does it better, the point is our black women is and will always be the blueprint. If a woman doesn’t conceive then how can the (blank) man get here to show a woman he can do it better. This the type of Claudia I like to see. One thing I notice, she will protect black women when she feel their disrespected and I think she’s good at it
Can a wo(man) get here without sperm? Were men wearing dresses, makeup, jewelry, wigs in ancient times? It’s not a new invention for men or women but woman wearing pants, shorts and button down shirts is a recent phenomenon.
I'm with Claudia on this one. I'll give gay men credit where its due however the disrespect is a no. I've had the most disrespect from gay black men, but always find myself defending one. At this point I try to stay away altogether all love though 💜

I agree with Claudia, this us vs them need’s to not to continue, because both groups have toxic relationships with heterosexual BM, and we’re all we got . Saucy slapped BW in the face , I want him to win, but he’s not with this type of behavior. Real talk , that language reminds me of the toxic-hate we get from BM all over social media , and Saucy’s still a BM,,, never forget that ladies .
I get what you saying and absolutely right regarding Saucy but there is ignorance in all groups even black women. There are black women that are very toxic, homophobic, and can be just as bad as bm even regarding other black women. I've seen this first hand with rape allegations and leaving black girls unprotected to protect a bm. The best we can do is check those bad behaviors and not subscribe to this in-group/out-group dynamic.

Saucy Santana is a perfect example of why the music/entertainment industry still needs gatekeepers. Everyone getting a record deal after posting a Tiktok dance or singing a demo is getting out of hand!
As a heterosexual black woman, I do, at times, feel disrespected by gay men. It does feels uneven when it comes to respect. Now, to what Funky said about how black women disrespect black gay men is true but here's the thing: I feel that a gay black man would be so quick to disrespect a black woman than a heterosexual black man. For example, Lil Boosie, I don't hear the gay men talk about his hair, or his clothes, or his appearance in general. The only thing that they may talk about is his music (maybe). Now, Kim Burrell on the other hand, they came for her edges, her weight, her clothes.....the level of "comebacks" definitely not the same between hetero women and men. Now, what Kim and Lil Boosie has said was wrong but I want gay men to keep the same energy when it comes to disrespect, regardless of who it comes from.
First of all, KUDOS to the CORRECT punctuation...LOVE IT! Secondly, you are so correct!! They really let Kim Burrell have it, but to that, not saying she is right, Kim Burrell was raised in church, and many churches preach(ed) that "homosexuality is bad" and will "send you straight (no pun intented) to the fires of HELL". When you're raised like that, it can be hard to break away from that mindset. I was raised in a strict Pentecostal home, and it wasn't until I became an adult and created friendships with gay people, that my mindframe changed. Now, I know that love is love and it DOES NOT matter who you get it from.
Guys called Boosie all kinds of things. Ragged on his whole look. Gays get disrespectful horribly by women when she gets mad. So gays do clap back. Thats a normal reaction. Guays have fought heterosexual hating males all their lives. I've definitely seen women disrespect gays and turn on them quick
Thank you Claudia for making sense. Culture, norms and roles can be duplicated, yo mamma, grandmamma, auntie, ovaries and fallopian tubes cannot. The men on this panel were REACHING!!!! Why do gay Black men have to disrespect what women have always brought to this life, in order to walk in pride or self confidence. If love ain't in it, it ain't right!!!!
Everybody wanna replace the Black woman... Black women this is more reason for US to be mindful of our self hatred and envy towards one another and LEARN to stick together again!👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑
Gay does not mean feminine. Saying that is problematic and putting a group of people in a box is reinforcing stereotypes. Gay men are still men. To add, Saucy Santana said publicly that straight men respect him.
Thank you , Claudia! Women ARE the blueprint. Saucy worded it exactly how he meant it. I’m an older woman who has always loved and respected the community. And the community has respected me. However, there has always been an undercurrent of jealousy and competition from some of the LGBTQ community. I do understand it, but It’s not right.
As a gay, black man, it is clear to me that women get their cues on femininity from other women. Some gay men may provide enhancements or an exaggerated take on the idea of femininity or style and some women may adapt their presentation, accordingly.
I've seen some rough women out their with not much femininity or wardrobe appearance. Gays definitely helped some women connect with their feminine side. I think the problem is everyone is talking in general and as a whole, instead of saying "some".
I can honestly say that I haven’t learned one thing about being a woman from a gay man… not my makeup, hair or the way I talk. Actually I had a gay friend who copied everything I did down to my hand movements and even said that he does it cuz he loves how feminine I am.

I am a Woman, because I was born a Woman, my femininity comes from within. I was taught and raised by a strong & courageous mother who required me to be a strong & courageous woman that knows my worth. With or without makeup, fake fingernails , or certain clothing to enhance my body, I am still full, purebred woman that God blessed me to be.
💯

A man can not compete with a natural born woman for women's space no matter the style of dress, wig, makeup, whatever. At the end of the day Black people need to quit competing against each other in a negative way, and help pull each other up.
Claudia is the worst example for BW🤦🏽♀️ y’all so ignorant

Yes I have watched some beautiful black men do their makeup and some I even subscribe to, but I haven't learned anything that I wasn't taught, but I can appreciate watching them.
Thank you Claudia, I have never looked to a gay man for my femininity, Dorothy Dandridge, Diana Ross, Nancy Wilson, Diane Carroll, Lena Horne, Whitney Houston, Halle Berry, Phylicia Rashad, Angela Bassett, I can go on and on. There are also white women I could name, before a man.
Exactly!

Our pain and ability to invent something out of nothing has fueled invention. Even at our worst, we've given our best. Our femininity is too complex to be explained away by trends, exagerrated or not, elevated or not. FACTS!!!!!!!
💯💯💯
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
The term cisgender is usually used in textbooks/psychology studying trans ppl now everybody wanna use it to label what we already know
I just became a super Claudia fan !!!!!! For the first time. I ain't never agreed with more 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
@@KamalaHarris2024 Stop spamming the comments because you're in the wrong. 🙄
@@KamalaHarris2024 I'm not homophobic
Me too!
No lie, for a long time I was not a fan of Claudia but sis has been laying it down on her show and I am here for it!!! Everything she said and more!!!! 💯💯💯
Ooooop!!
This one!!
This is where we are when a man is going to say they are able to out "woman" a woman. Can you imagine if a lesbian said that about men?
A lot of studs have.that mentality, actually, since their "dicks" don't give out like ours do (eventually)
Valid!!!!
OMG YES! 💯 Best comment… 👏🏾
This!
Thank you, Claudia!!!! Well SAID!!!!
I'm with Claudia on this one. I'll give gay men credit where its due however the disrespect is a no. I've had the most disrespect from gay black men, but always find myself defending one. At this point I try to stay away altogether all love though 💜
Claudia has never been so right!!
REAL TALK... Well said Claudia Jordan, well said!♥️✌🏿💪🏿🌹
Go awf Claudia!!!!! I for damn sure don't learn my feminity from a gay man.
Thank you Claudia for saying what needed to be said even amongst the company to your left and right. That's integrity and you spoke the absolute truth. I could've said it better!
Claudia laid me out and I'm a woman a female with natural estrogen and progesterone the shit that make you sultry curvy soft you know womanly. Yo feelings gone stay hurt if you trying to be something you not.
Go Claudia!
Claudia be holdin it down.....
@@dariusd2003 Black women aren't getting on stage saying we better than gay men. We are competing or trying to compare with gay men. There is no comparison. We simply embrace gay men and it's being flipped as tho we need them somehow. Gay men talk BAD about women. I've heard it. Let's not.
Al, I beg to differ. I’m a black woman, I didn’t know any gay black men when I was growing up. Like Claudia, my femininity came from watching my mother, aunts, teachers, pastor’s wives.🤷🏾♀️ I disagree Funky Dineva.🤷🏾♀️
Claudia needs a standing ovation!!!. 🙌👏👏
Thank you Claudia! Why do some gays assume that every black woman has a male gay black friend? We don’t lol…
THIS because not all of us do. And for them to act like it's a one way thing when it comes to two faced ppl is a joke. They do it just as much as bw and that's a fact. Hell Saucy doing it to all black women is what has this discussion going.
bc of housewives of Atlanta
Right. I don't.
Thank you. I take nothing from them and have nothing to do with them....period. I have none as friends nor enemies.
Or follow gay fashion. Some of these flamboyant men that supposedly we are copying or oversaturated are extremely exaggerated and I'm a natural born female and I don't act like that. Yeah!!!
I never knew I liked Claudia so much... I’m just realizing it lately.. she is smart and sensible, my type of girl.. I wanna be her fran 😹😹😹
Thank you!!!!!!
Thats how I feel as of late, maybe its because she finally got her own space to shine! ❤
@@claudiajordanreal thank you so much Claudia 🌹🌹🌹Everything you said was on point 👏👏👏
Saucy acting just like a man. Misogyny can cone from many places.
Saucy Santana is a perfect example of why the music/entertainment industry still needs gatekeepers. Everyone getting a record deal after posting a Tiktok dance or singing a demo is getting out of hand!
FACTS. Every average NOBODY with a gimmick has an audience now.
Very good point.
Very good point!
Women have always loved and accepted gays even when straight men have shunned gays ,cant believe saucy santana said that nonsense
Claudia you better go👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
She said that!!!!
Claudia! Thanks for sticking up and at the same time being fair.
Claudia as a Woman THANK YOU FOR HAVING OUR BACKS!!!!!!!
The gays ain't redefined sh*t for me. This is some effd up stuff! Thank you Claudia.
Everybody wanna replace the Black woman... Black women this is more reason for US to be mindful of our self hatred and envy towards one another and LEARN to stick together again!👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑
Back in the 90s everybody knew their place and stayed in their lane. Claudia you are correct and we do support the community.
Thank you!!!!!! Claudia!!!!! We love tf out of y’all ❤❤❤❤
Gay does not mean feminine. Saying that is problematic and putting a group of people in a box is reinforcing stereotypes. Gay men are still men. To add, Saucy Santana said publicly that straight men respect him.
Lmao as Funky got quiet ASF. Claudia, yes maam, yes maam. In the words of Claudia- "Get the hell out of here with that". Lol
Funky got quiet to let Claudia speak, all three of them had valid points whether it fits your narrative or not
@@aaronb127 oh for sure! I love Funky - hes just not speechless a lot. Lol. But he did say he was going to catch heat for what he was about to say.
@@aaronb127 thank you!
They hate you.
Claudia dropped the mic!! It needed to be said.
Tell them girl they lose themselves and have forgotten their places. She said it in a nice way
Thank you Claudia round of 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
As a gay, black man, it is clear to me that women get their cues on femininity from other women. Some gay men may provide enhancements or an exaggerated take on the idea of femininity or style and some women may adapt their presentation, accordingly.
I agree
@nathaniel...I agree
💯
I agree. I feel like it’s more of an exchange between gay men and women
I've seen some rough women out their with not much femininity or wardrobe appearance. Gays definitely helped some women connect with their feminine side. I think the problem is everyone is talking in general and as a whole, instead of saying "some".
