This song was truly a Brave New World! If you can turn Dustin's heaviest song yet into something this beautiful, then anyting is possible. This was truly phenomenal!
...Maybe some Atomospheric Reimagining III's are in order? 😝 With the software upgrade making this possible, I would definitely love to hear more reimaginings like this!
Thank you very much for the awesome comment, glad you liked this one! That's a good point, Atmospheric Reimagining III's might very well be in order now, lol. There's a lot that can be done with software like this, the possibilities are endless. I could potentially even do a big atmospheric reimagining (which I've nicknamed atmo remos) that's also a mashup of several Starset songs. Seriously soooooo many possibilities for future projects with this.
To be totally honest with you, I wasn't too confident that this one would be received very well, mostly because it's no longer Dustin's voice. And the familiarity with Dustin is a huge auditory appeal to Starset fans. We all know and love his voice, so changing to a new voice made me concerned that this reimagining would flop. But it's gotten very nice feedback so far, so I'm really relieved, lol.

Love the vocals and the simpler, softer melody. Who's singing? It doesn't sound like Dustin or like your Polarity album, but whoever it is knocked it out of the park.

@@Soulift I'll definitely put together a piano tutorial for Degenerate, that's sort of a staple of this channel. I'm with you, I don't think I could pull off the chorus in a vocal cover, lmao. I might try to make an atmospheric reimagining of it, like this one. Or I might go for a synthy remix or something. I'm still workshopping ideas at the moment, but I'm sure I'll end up doing a couple videos on it. What about you, any plans?
@@FireflyProductions I just checked the tutorial, neat stuff, you even gave some extra harmonies on the vocal parts, gonna have to try it. Can't wait to hear whatever version you end up making, I bet either one of those would slap. I still might go try butcher a cover one of these days lol
