Your images are stunning! 🔥 The only thing that kinda bothered me is the orientation of the shadows on the wide of the Raptors commercial. Light seems to be coming quite horizontally which we would subconsciously generally associate with a late afternoon/early evening sunlight… which would generally be warm-ish. Shadows even seem to be going slightly upwards which would indicate that the main light source was probably projecting horizontally from outside the window at the level of the side table. Is it correct? If so, Was there some sort of constraint that prevented you guys from placing the fixture slightly higher or was it just an artistic choice?
Appreciate the feedback Chris! We’re still learning and testing, so always happy to hear feedback as well. Will adapt and try different techniques for the next one. Appreciate you!!
Recommendations for a starter lighting kit for upcoming gaffers/DPs? Currently own a 300B II and a pavotube, thinking abt picking up a pavoslim and intellytech 6fc.
Gonna play devil's advocate and say that I don't think you quite achieved the high key look especially in the first shot. Beautiful camera movement and production design. To my eye, the shadows look too sourcey (not parallel) and I agree with you that showing the window would've helped sell it for sure. Nonetheless good work!

We love the Amaran f22C or nanlite 60B, those are some of our favourites!
Very interested in the magnets you used during the Shopify spot. Do you have a link for those that I missed?
Great Lighting Breakdown, thanks mate🎥🎥 what single black net do you use in combination with the Amaran F22c?

Appreciate the feedback! Always out here still learning and love talking about the process. 🙏
Amazing! What type of art silk do you use? How many stops does it diffuse?
We usually like to use artificial silk and its 1.6 stops

Thanks for all the Videos bro!!!
Thanks David! Glad you're enjoying these.
Great stuff man, thank you for making this.
Appreciate you Aaron
Great video as always, what filters do you use to achieve that glow, black pro mist or glimmer glass?
We like to use a 1/8 hbm on all our commercial work and then 1/2 glimmer on our beauty work
@@TenfoldProduction Awesome, thanks!
Off topic question, but what are you using to draw on the video?
The thing is, deep shadows are popular now, so I think your version of high key isn't high key from a few years ago.
Great point! Things really do change quick and are always trying to find our style. Appreciate the feedback
@@TenfoldProduction definitely don't see this as a criticism I love your style btw! I've personally learnt a lot from your videos!
@ thanks man! Didn’t take it negatively at all, always appreciate convos like this! Thanks for supporting
Another way to remove the reflections is to use a circular polarizer filter

I know that framed jersey has Lowry's number on it.
A real raps fan!
