Every time I see a piebald red deer in this game I think of mine in classic
this is 1 of my most loved games and I have 2 rare animals so far. I watch all of your vids and I love your style and patience. I have a rare piebald Mulie and a albino diamond water buffalo. My 2 best animals were a 42 point 1000 max red deer on Parque Fernando and a 990 score Ibex. Sadly both are no longer in my Lodge I have no idea where they went but I do have a vid of that massive Ibex being taken. keep up the good work.

Where do you find your water buffalo? I can’t seem to find them on my map. I don’t hunt parque much so I don’t know many good spots.

Yeah i just had to go for it. When you got the shot, ya take it, you know. Started with Cuatro then before i kne it i had all the maps plus tree/hunting stand pack and trophy lodge as well lol! ( Sony having a sale also helped )Should have gone with smoking barrels pack instead of tree/hunting stand pack imo but next time i guess. My new .300 will suffice in the meanwhile.

i just started playing not to long ago and i haven’t found a gold or diamond yet. how rare are they? and does how i kill the animal affect the rating of them? also is there more golds and diamonds in the DLC or can i find just as many in the first 3 places.

I've been playing for almost two months, level 44 and I've been putting tons of time into plugging away on the lower level animals. the more you grind away at them: the more you take the lower level ones; the more likely you are to get higher level and rares. keep at it!
They have equal chances it’s about respawns to and take it from me I’ve been playing for almost 2 years
In theory, a player’s first animal can be a diamond. Take a look into Flinter’s videos as well. He has a beginner series and a ton of videos explaining diamonds and how to make the most money and xp and succeed as a beginner. Good luck

This is the first of dd’s videos that I ever watched! In fact it was the first ever video about the hunter call of the wild I ever watched! At the time I watched it I was clue less about what to do in the game. I would hunt like I hunt in real life( I still do) but after watching this video I learned so much about the game! If RUclips didn’t recommend this video I would still be shooting 5 medium moose with the .243(which I did 3 times) Thanks for being a great person!! Keep up the amazing work!!!! 👍👍👍👍🏹🦌
I messed up my shot on a 9 grizzly, ended up being a gold, of I hadn't whiffed it woulda been high diamond
If you don't harvest those they will respawn, you can still open them up to see and just close the game if you messed up

I went over to your spots and did as you said and found 5 level 7s, an 8, and a ton of 6s and 5s and raked in the money. The only issue is getting around the river, even with fast travel lodges it is pretty annoying to go get a body and set back up again, atvs help a lot though. The 7s look really nice in the entry way of the Spring lodge. Thanks for the video!
edit: Just walking around normally, I never really saw many red deer at level 5 let alone haul in a bunch of 7s like today, so it felt pretty nice. The best spot I found was right after the bridge in the trees, 4 of my 7s came from there alone in one pass. The rest of the spots were pretty empty except for one 7 and one 8 on a multi server.
I got my friend his first diamond grey wolf after tracking it for four hours and great vid always gets me hyped to play the hunter again

Aren't these new racks a little oversized? They're cool, but the biggest are almost as big as the deer itself.

Hey DD I shot a piebald bull moose and messed up the shot under pressure. I was so angry I tracked it for a long time but I couldn’t keep up with it. How do you find your rares? Do you kill animals and wait to see if it respawns as a rare? Also love the vid!!❤️❤️
Oh man sorry about that... It happens. Also thank you! I get lucky
First open up the map so you got some feed or drink locations .
Than kill the animals there (watch out for killing to much on same spot)
....and you can come back the next day (in game) to the same feed and drink location and see what new spawns the game gave you.
Also locations where you never hunted ..tend to have diamonds and rares.
And its also luck.
I just hunt and if something rare comes by ill kill it...but to hunt only for rares GL with that.

Hey DD33, do you have any advice on what gun I should use to hunt moose?
Had to start over again last week (new pc )and old safe of the old pc was totally messed up (release day save)
So started over went to Africa and the first gemsbok i shot (with the muzzle loader) was a diamond.
So nice start for my new hunting cabin.
I would recommend getting the perk that lets u scan the animals in ur scope, it will make it easier. Keep up the work
The bow is sick I was night hunting springbok in the one spot up close shoot one then use caller and repeat got about 10

I stalked an albino level 4 Gembesox for like 30 mins and never got a chance to drop it.
I just got my 3rd level 9 water buffalo at the same lake, all trolls and all the same respawn. Kinda crazy.

Yeah they can. I have two diamond trurac red deer and have one of those racks. It looks quite a bit bigger and better though.

jonny grays games I have the one on the right but They look pretty different. A lot more tines more mass, and more length. The one on the left is the most common one you can get.

I had the same, a 7 piebald with similar rack. He just ran past me, I panicked and instead of finding his zone I took a shot as he was running and it missed vital, so he's a silver 😔
