Hiking the Kokoda Track 2023

Hiking the Kokoda Track for eight days in the jungles of Papua New Guinea, along with several close friends, my dad, other intrepid hikers, and many locals.
The hike was organised and led by Mick O'Malley from Australian Kokoda Tours.
This trek was an adventure of a lifetime. It brought many smiles and gave us opportunities to overcome hardship. We certainly didn't have it as tough as the Australian/Japanese soldiers did back in 1942, but we did leave with a newfound appreciation for the sacrifices the soldiers made.
A big thanks to everyone who hiked along with me. It was epic.

i did it in july aswel, im 14 and did kokoda. i wish i recorded it like some other people did. its such a beautiful place and lovely experience
