A closely knit quartet - lovely. Someone said the woman was married to all three of the male members, though not at the same time. I have yet to have it confirmed.
Yes, Elisa Pegreffi (vln 2) was married to Paolo Borciani (vln 1). She's a great player, and especially assertive and expressive for a second violinist. Good stuff.
I heard Viola player got married to all members from the Quartet (in different periods), not sure if Quartteto Italiano but an Italian quartet. Which has nothing wrong with it and proves explicitly "chamber music" is like having a family :p
@@fierywomanpacnw7004 Now I get it, thank you much! in the orchestra would be like getting married with your stand partner - if comes to the string section of course.
What an absolute magnificent performance, simple the best !

Son d’accordo. Di molto. Sí, è sublime. Qui vi è del corpo e dell’anima. Piú del corpo che ha vissuto. Ufff… che pezzo grosso di musica!❤
Thank you.
This wonderful piece evokes so many fine memories specially this performance by Quartetto Italiano.

There's hardly anything quite like a string quartet; particularly that of one such as Brahms...Perfection!....Thank You!....
Yes! Impeccable!❤

ALWAYS THE BEST. CONCENTRATION AND MOVING DEPTH.
Best interpretation ever!

No, it was the second violin who was married to the first violin and the cello.

It is the first Violin , Paolo Borciani who got married with the second violin, Elisa Pegreffi.
