Hi Lokesh, actually depends on what you wish to do in Gangtok. But 3 days is a good time to spend in Gangtok. You can cover up most of the tourist spots, and try their local food. Our advice is to do the Paragliding, since you will get an experience of a lifetime. Take some time to visit the monastery as well. 3 Days is perfect actually.

Watch our Things to do in Gangtok Video again, and list out, which one would be exciting for you and which one looks boring. Share this video with your friend / family with whom you are travelling to Gangtok with, ask them for their opinion and then make a plan accordingly. From our experience 90% of Travel plans with family doesn't work. something or the other just comes in the way. So be prepared for it as well.
There are plenty of Paragliding service offered in Gangtok. Most of them range between Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 depending on the short distance or long distance.
