i couldnt grab product names just yet but i searched "aurora nails" in youtube and theres this video where the lady uses celophane instead of that topper powder this lady uses ruclips.net/video/fa37SMbcOPM/видео.html from what i can tell, the person from this video is using an iridescent rub on powder application to soft gels then using a hard gel to attach the makeshift softgel sticker and build the nail up along with the multicolors. whereas the person in the video i linked, used an iridescent cellophane attached using soft gels, then clear capped it with hard gel and layered some iridescent powders over it. for both of these it's possible they use two different colors of iridescence to get some layered effect. here's a list of product type: soft gel base coat, rub on nail powder (additional search term "iridescent" or "aurora"), rub on nail powder top coat/soft gel top coat, silicon mat to cure gels on to make your own nail sticker OR iridescent cellophane, clear hard gel in a tub + brush + monomer, a uv/led lamp of 40+ watts i think i got everything but lemme know if ure curious about more! i did my best

Okay I brought the foil as well and... it doesn't work. The shellac is much too thin to be molded like the gel in this video, so the foil keeps wrinkling and the edges stand up... however with just the pulver, I was able to achieve a very nice result nevertheless 😁
Would you get the same effect if you just put non-wipe top coat over the first layer of powder and put the second powder over that, then seal it with the final gel top coat?
They are stunning nails but when you make the film can you not hold the paper curved while curing so it sits on the nail better, then they won't be so thick? I have lots of film but I will try to make my own

I think they were a design choice haha. She made them aurora-like, but then added another aurora layer which seemed to be a way for her to make the nails "jelly" like.
is it possible to do these without making the film? like if i were to rub in the first powder, place a coat of cures gel, and then rub the second powder? would that still give the same effect or would it end up muddy 💀
Cant you just put the green/pulver on top of the purple, maybe be with a layer of clear polish in between ...why does it need to be that complicatey with the peel thingy...doesn’t make sense to me
Yeah I was asking myself the same thing.. this is way too much effort and I probably won’t ever do it, but if you could achieve the same or similar result with just a 2nd layer and rubbing powder on it, I’d definitely try that! 😅
I think if another powder was added on the next layer it would just make the 2 colours reflect at the same position no? It's probably why the 2nd colour is on a flat piece to make the colours appear in different areas

That's right. It adds color and the light reflected in different directions becomes colorful.

It looks amasing, but so hard to do and hard to find that powder. But I like the look, it just like natural nails but they had that glass look. :)

There is no such effect because the two colors are expressed in the same location.
