This origami trefoil knot is folded using the same bends as Thoki Yenn's umulius rectangulum aka magic rings or impossible rectangles. Some of the bends are centered on the paper just like the umulius rectangulum, but some of the bends are off center which makes them more difficult to collapse. I don't fold geometric origami like this much anymore, but I was very into it many years ago when I first folded this. It is a modification of Susan Williams' original design which was a modular origami, I just combined the modules into one long rectangle.

Very cool.
Especially because I have a lot of 70×100cm elephant hide sheets and I always struggle to find a nice model with the leftover 30×70cm strip after cuting a 70×70cm square.
That's awesome. Elephant hide was perfect for this one. The two I have in the thumbnail are elephant hide too, I just spray painted them
Yeah I made it today !
Bless you
🙏
Love it
Thank you! Have fun
What size you used ? Inchi or cm ? thank you
Inch
Inch works
I used 26 inches in the video
First! also I managed to make your tighter model from your cp
That's awesome! The tighter version is definitely more difficult to collapse
@@ArtOfFold yeah but well worth it
also I made it without using measurements so it was a little harder
