I Ride Jeff Gibson's Loretta Lynn's 40+ Qualifier Winning 2024 KTM 300SX! Pro Rider Dialed!

- This is former Pro MX/SX and Arenacross Champion Jeff Gibson's 2024 KTM 300SX (this is the bike Jeff used at the Loretta Lynn qualifier at Red Budd winning 40+ and finishing 3rd overall in 25+). Jeff had Levi Kilbarger do the suspension, Jamie at Twisted re-mapped the stock ECU, and he added a Pro Circuit pipe and silencer and a Rekluse Torque Drive clutch. Hopefully it comes across in the video how much fun I had riding Jeff's 300SX at KickIn Roost MX! The bike is fast and the suspension is plush, especially at the top of the stroke with a great tire contact patch planted feel. When I ride the 23/24 KTM/Husky 250/300 2-strokes I do not get any of the "stiff" chassis feel over the bumps like I notice on the same model year 4-strokes. The Twisted Development map and Pro Circuit pipe/silencer help the engine running clean and smooth and let the power last a little longer up top. Last time I rode the bike it was a 250SX. I like the power better with the 300SX kit installed. Overall a fast/fun/plush bike to ride!

Yes strong engine with surprisingly good over rev. I think the pipe helps

Yes Jeff is a former Pro rider and did a lot of bike testing (he was a development rider for Canondale back in the day) so he knows how to set up a bike.

I would love to reach out to him and ask about any kind of bog issue he may have had, maybe point me in the direction of the guys who put it together. I am in a mess trying to get my 300 tbi random bog figured out. Normally i would dump a problem bike but this bike is awesome just dangerous on jumps(currently sitting with 2 broken ribs as i bogged on a double)
Sorry to hear about your injury - hope you recover soon. I've not heard Jeff talk about any bog however his ECU was mapped by Jamie at Twisted.

If I bought a new bike and it's flaws put me down I sure wouldn't be touching it again.
Side note.. just beat one of these in a local enduro which had a motorcross track included. 😂
Kx450 for the win... dang if the guy didn't run me till the end though.. 40 miles of pain.
You buy cones and put GV in it....make that make sense.
I mis spoke - my mistake! Levi used cone valves (with his own settings) in the forks on Jeff's bike.

@@bretdumbaugh2324 Yes - KickIn Roost MX. They have a FB page and are usually open every weekend. They also have track rental options. Fun track and great owners.
