I hear what you say about Monday with no news, but it also depends on what has happened in the past couple of days as well. Thursday and Friday with no real expansion can set up a decent Monday move.

That SMT explanation confused me because I thought in a downtrend if one is making lower highs lower lows and the other makes a higher high that is a bullish SMT

There was something you said about multiple FVG formations and how those are a sign to not trade, if i am not mistaken. How does that correlate to a pd array forming in the context of no external momentum on mondays and whether or not there are SMT's that form within them?
