CHA TIME was my first location having bubble tea. Then they closed all Cha Times in NYC. Now my go to spot is Coco or Vivi
I've got a job here soon, what's the purpose of putting a little in the cup before pouring the whole thing in? Also, are you allowed to take any home at the end of the day if there's extras or you've had a long shift?

I used to work at Chatime Sunset Place here in Miami, and I enjoyed working there. Very nostalgic for me seeing the same routine done here.

interesting way to make pudding. We need to boil the water in a pot before adding pudding powder and white sugar in, and actually have to cook it to a boil again.

Yes! I would recommend the taro milk tea (very creamy) or the roasted milk tea 🧋 But definitely can’t go wrong with any option 😉

Hey! Could you tell me if you guys serve different drinks in the winter as opposed to the summer? Do people buy as many iced drinks in the winter when it gets cold?

Hello! Yes, we do have to memorize each step and the amount of measurements for every drink but the recipes were also available for staff to see in case we forget. Good Luck! 🍀

Does all the prep stuff is done before the opening the store? Also I wanna ask if there's designation of role there like there's someone who will accept the order while the other one is responsible in creating the milk tea? I'm planning to apply in the Chatime branch nearby, hoping that you can shed light about what it's like to work there. Thank you in advance.
Yes we prep all the ingredients before the store opens! There’s no designated role in this particular store as it is highly likely that you will have to learn how to multitask at all the different stations while working :) Good Luck in applying!

What was the most difficult part of this job when you first started? I’m planning to work as a boba barista next year too.
The most difficult part was probably just memorizing the recipe for each drink. Many drinks are made the same way though (at least at the place we work at), so with a couple weeks of practice, you’ll get it down. Good luck!

How did you learn to prepare all those drinks? Did you had to take any courses?
We had to go through two weeks of training before we actually got hired.

Hey, I recently got a job at Chatime and am panicking about learning everything (I don't know anything). Is there any advice you can give?
Split memorizing how the make the drinks in sections. (Milk tea, fruit tea, smoothie, cheese tea…etc.) once you split them into sections, you realize they are pretty much the same just with different ingredients
