On the HL L 2320 printer, you must use the right Brother toner, compatible with TN 660 or TN 630. on Ebay, etc.. or the printed page comes out streaked all the time. Also, the gear must be reset. Not too hard a task. Saves a lot of money and IT WORKS ! Your video is wonderful, thanks a lot
Thank you from all the videos you had all the details on how to remove the metal (side plate) how to clean it besides work station and to clean the roller. Although the place where I got the ink told not to use any kind of alcohol for cleaning.
Just destroyed the plug. I would suggest to buy extra of the filler plugs before starting this. As mentioned about and about everywhere regarding this cartridge, the plugs are very fragile and fit very tight into the hole. Fortunately, I had a spare empty cartridge I stole one from to complete the process.
I have have a Brother branded tn660 cart, and it has some kind of Spring Clip, not the big spring shown here. Not sure how it cam out as I was prepared to find the large spring and was not paying attention to this little spring. I don't know how it goes back together. Any suggestions?
I am having trouble on the 2350 when I go to remove the developer cylinder. There is a ring on the bottom (where they indicate to take the e-ring off of the gear), but I can't get it to budge. Any suggestions?
I bought a HL-L2365DW Brother Printer and printing several hundred pages, the printer asks me to change toner cartridge. I have already refill the toner but it doesn't work. How can I reset the starter cartridge which does not come with any reset gears ?
Thanks for your reply. I tried hard to find ways to reset the counter instead of wasting money to buy gears. Eventually, I successfully reset the counter to 0 and it works for my starter cartridge. The steps are: Turn the HL-L2365DW printer off. Open the front cover. Press the ‘Go’ and "Power" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. Release the ‘Go’ button. It will enter into "User Mode". Press the ‘Go’ button for 9 times, the "Wifi lamp" will flash. Press the ‘Go’ button for 5 times and close the cover. The counter is reset to 0
I have a problem and I' don't know why is this happening. I have an alternative tonner TN 2340 and I've tried refill it a couple of times. The thing is for some reason the center gear shaft, the next to the reset gear just stop spinning and get stuck, so the system doesn't work any more. I don't know why this is happening. The first time I did it I fucked it up, te gear shaft got stuck. The second time, no problem and all worked fine. Now, the third time I'm doing the procces the gear shaft is stucked again. I don't know what to do, please help.
I followed the instructions, but every time I put in my printer it turns reset gear out of position and I still get error. Isn't the gear next to it with the little tab supposed to be in a certain position so it won't keep setting itself back???? Please help!
if you placed the ring in the position reset .. it is normal to place the printer back to the position used in the first instance, if the printer does not detect the toner .. back to reset position and put it in place, but not close the lid, in the printer menu hold down (OK) for a while until it appears in the menu option to replace the drum and give ok., then close lid. bye

you mean the reset gear? may be it's not an original Brother cartridge. you only have to look to the position of the gear, the spring is not inportant
Does TN-2325 in China belong to same cartridge as yours' demonstrated?
yees, it's the same procedure
Thank you so much!:)
How do you make out the difference between a high yield and standard reset gears?
high yield reset gear is white

Is it an original Brother cartridge? The developer roller should be removed easily
Yes, Brother TN2350

you have to take the gears from another cartridge, or buy a set of gears, and install them into the cartridge. there is no other way.
