I remember doing it the first time on normal and I was super mad at the cheap shots from that girl. The controls on pc are bad enough, so dodging the rancor was enough of a challenge. But no, they have to put that girl there, just to mess with you a bit more. Years later I beat the game on master, but this fight still gave me a headache. Felt like I was hitting the beast with a wooden stick instead of a lightsaber, so I was just running/jumping around smacking it with lightning over and over again lol. This is one of those fights where watching someone doing it is more enjoyable than actually doing it. Especially when the person knows what he is doing. Well done!
It certainly was one of the trickier fights, but once you get used to the expected bs it becomes somewhat manageable. That being said I still feel like I got whooped looking back at the footage lol.
(In the beginning or later on of the mission in the PS2/Wii version, Starkiller will meet up with Alderaanian troopers with gear similar to Kota's Militia and an MAAT of their own fighting against dark Felucians, then tells them that he'll handle the rescue mission... this is unfortunately absent in this version.) 13:00: ...For once, I agree. Lighting is useless on the first phase of this boss. Just focus on dodging, hitting it as often with the saber as you can, and force repulsing Maris whenever she shows up. Pretty straightforward afterwards in phase two.
Maris said that Shaak-Ti abandoned her? Well, if getting killed by a Sith Lord means you abandoned someone, guess that's true. . . .from a certain point of view.
Instead of having to restart the level, do this. The next time you go for it and you know you missed it and before you hit the ground, go into the menu and exit the game, then when you reload you will be starting at the last check point.
@@StarMarshal I manage to defeat him, when he charge i dodge and then i jump to do areal attacks and run as for maara i use repulse to get her away from me and lot of patience xD

My favorite thing to do on felucia is always force gripping enemies and gently dropping them on those bubbles just to watch them fly

Tiago Estevinha just use hit and run attacks. You can just toss the lightsaber if you need to and keep your distance.
