- Ben Affleck praises his wife, Jennifer Lopez, and her many talents on the ‘Smartless’ podcast with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes. First, the actor shares how many songs he knows from his wife’s discography. Then, Ben explains that it takes a ‘big man’ to feel adequate around J.Lo, whom he calls an ‘incredible actress’ and the ‘greatest’ performer.
Listened to this last week and the whole interview was so funny. Ben and Matt need their own podcast! Ben rarely talks that freely about his wife to the media but this was a podcast with his friend and people he felt comfortable with so he was gushing about her like any husband would. They clearly followed each other's work over the years and were always rooting for each other from afar. He's her biggest fan and she's his. That's just who they are and always have been. Good luck to the whole team of AIR - I've heard it's amazing.

Yes I could not agree more the different between 20 years ago both Ben and Jennifer let the haters negativity get the best of their amazing relationship and chemistry. Now 20 years later their stronger mentally as individual and as a couple and have grown up a lot and have kids. Been though some hard relationship in which in Jen case she had been though a lot with men not treating her right and only using her for their gain. However haters guess what 20 years laters your not going to get the best of Bennifer 2.0 even if you dare. As what God bought together no man can break trust God is powerful than all you haters and he got Bennifer back together.

Jlo def has a bunch of classic songs, and singers don't need to be exceptional to be good musicians and make enjoyable music. I just wish Jlo would get involved in the writing process more often. Sometimes I get the feeling that she makes music to make hits, rather than to create art. Idk maybe I'm wrong. She's an exceptional entertainer nonetheless. Obviously!
Well she's said she's really only been inspired by Ben. This Is Me Then was really the only time she was involved in her writing. Which is why it's her best album.
