Good afternoon Marlene. 😊 these are beautiful wigs. Next wig I buy will be a short one. I've never had short hair. My great-grandmother raised me, and she always had me in long braids. And my hair styles remained that way my whole life, and we are the same age now. LOL
Yes, Spade and Missoni are both from the Lux collection. All the styles in Lux have hand-tied caps. Hand-tied caps do not have permatease and Spade is low density. xoxo Marlene
Hi M! You know what really interested me was what your wearing in the beginning because I just got Monticeto in Beige Linen Blonde and it looks exactly like McQueen. It's a city collection style with the more basic lace front and part. I like it tho and actually all the styles your showing in this video.
These are beautiful Marlene, especially on you. Any word on if they are going to bring out any cooler blondes? Sadly, the new BT colors just don't suit me (I so wish they did).
Thanks Lynn, in the Lux Collection, Shaken Oatmilk leans cool leans cool and in the City Collection, Milkshake Blonde and Crushed Almond Blonde both lean cool. Milkshake is very close to SS Biscuit from RW. I received notification of 3 new colors being added to the City collection, but I haven't received word of any to the Lux collection. xoxo Marlene
Thank you for this comparison M. I was thinking Id like to get one of these styles in the new discontinued color hazelnut syrup. They remind me of Valiencia, which I loved, but the short nape bugged me. I see Missoni's nape is longer and the whole style is a bit sleeker. I think that would be the one! You sure do help with decision making! Which is your fav?
Hey Kathy! I did not know hazelnut syrup was discontinued... I thought both styles were pretty, but I preferred Spade... maybe it was the color that swayed me. ~m
So combing the wig will loosen the curls? Good to know. Do you think it can be styled away from the face? I’m that person looking for a shag cut that graduates back as I am older in my early seventies. Not framing the face. Any chance that you demonstrate this somewhere in one of your videos. Your videos are so straight forward with great advice for someone like me starting this journey. My confidence will eventually build, I’m sure, but not right now. Thank you for all your help. It’s definitely appreciated by me.
Wigs need to be combed in order to detangle. Never use a brush on a wavy style or any heat friendly fibers; always use a wide tooth comb. Over combing will loosen the curls. Yes, I'll be recording some "how-to" videos showing how to care for heat friendly fibers as well as how to style away from the face. Thank you so much for visiting and your comment. HI Beautiful! thank you so much for stopping by! While I have never cut bangs on a wig (I've only trimmed), I don't see why you wouldn't be able to add a bang to either of these styles. If you belong to any private wig Facebook groups, you may want to consider asking the group if anyone has cut bangs into either of these styles. xoxo Marlene
Hi, yes, both these styles can be curled off the face by using steam or by misting the front with water, clipping the fibers back and applying heat with a blow dryer. All the fibers to cool completely before styling or combing. xoxo Marlene
Thank you for stopping by. I read somewhere, can't remember where, that Lemonade was being or has been discontinued. Most of the City collection styles and colors are being discontinued. I'm not sure why, but I'm happy many of the Cafe styles are being recreated in City and/or Lux (both collections have better fibers, cap construction, and lace fronts). There is also a new collection, ICON, that will be released later this year. The word is the colors in the Icon will be different from City or Lux. I haven't seen the styles or colors, but I'll keep everyone posted as soon as I know. xoxo Marlene
