LOVE IT... I'm a Michigan girl... travel all over the world and find myself back to my Michigan roots. And what a great song.. Thanks Ruth and the boys for that.
Love it! :-) Was born a Western Michigan girl. Love Lake Michigan in the summer. Boating in Spring Lake, Grand Haven,& Holland. Some of the best times of my life. Moved to Scottsdale, Az in '95. Still point on my 'Michigan ' hand to show where I spent my first 25 years. Funny, we are the only state that does the 'hand point'. ;-)
I'm a Michigan girl who moved to Sweden to marry a Swede. We're flying back home to Michigan in two days, and the tears are just streaming down my face from this beautiful song! I'll always be a Michigan girl!!
I was raised in Michigan and went to college at NMU in Marquette. I am very happy in my 40 year home in California but for some reason I cry every single time I hear this song!💕💕
You should move back to Michigan! California is so bad now! I don't know why you would ever leave Michigan. I wouldn't, that's for sure! I am moving to Michigan soon as well!
I'm a Michigan girl -- born here, raised here -- and no plans to leave. Gorgeous pictures, (thanks for showing my alma mater, Central Michigan University!!) Great song. Am adding a link to my Facebook page right now. Thanks again!
Love, love, love everything about this song: the words, the pictures, and the beautiful voices, harmonizing, and instruments.!! I was born and raised in Michigan, traveled quite a bit, but, like my Daddy said, "Michigan has it all!!". God Bless you dear lady for writing such an amazing song, and yes, Ellen Kellay, she reminds me of Ann Murray also. I'm planning a 2-3 week trip in the U.P. this summer. I feel blessed. Thank you so much. I will buy this song.

Fantastic song! Truly makes me a "true" future Michigander! I'm moving to Michigan very soon, to achieve the best quality of life and best state in the country!
What a wonderful video. I am always amazed at how blessed I am to live in Michigan for 64 years. I never get tired of the four seasons. I cherish them and look forward to each one. However, I love the springtime and the fall the best.

I heard this song played when a relative died in Michigan. It is a kleenex song. Even though we were transferrerd many years to Texas, I am still a "Michigan Girl", walking on a Sandy Beach and shuffling through the fallen leaves. Proud to call it home. I miss this beautiful piece of Heaven.
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!! I'm from Marquette Michigan on Lake Superior. Left for a while, but had to return. The U.P. gets in your blood - and your heart. Now it we can just get rid of Gov. Snyder
