too much pedal work, and off beat at time ~0:50 for example. I mean it sounds good but I think it's much more interesting to improvise on your own even if the result isn't even close to as beautiful as Bill Evans version.

Exactly. Back then it was too hard for me to produce good solo so I did this to 'feel glimpse of what I would feel improvising like this.
