Their gin is amazing if you like botanical gin. There is a belief by non-gin drinkers that all gin is dry, and dry is only half of the gin world. Botanical gins are extremely tasty and not the same "acquired taste".
Their imported Vodka is made and bottled by Grey Goose. Their American Vodka is made and bottled by Skyy. Their bourbon is made and bottled by Jim Beam, etc.
Kirkland silver tequila is among the best. it's better than Patron. I drink it straight......no training wheels. but then I don't really care for anejos or reposadas, especially if they have that oak barrel after taste. Blanco for me please.
It's not like Tequila Patron is really good, there's so many better tequilas blancos out there that you should try! I still have to try the Kirkland Signature tequila
@keith cunningham One thing I think the video missed was that Costco is the biggest liquor store in America. Their buying power is so huge that they can go to Grey Goose, Jameson, or Bailey's and say, "We'd like to buy several hundred thousand gallons of your liquor, but put it in these Kirkland bottles." and the companies are like, "Cool. Easy money!"
The Kirkland brands are made big brand liquor companies, but they don’t put their name on it hence it’s cheaper. So if you don’t like the brand name you won’t like Kirkland. Kirkland beer is brewed by Gordon Biersch. Kirkland Scotch are distilled by either Alexander Murray and Macallan Distillery. Kirkland bourbon is produced by Jim Beam. Kirkland vodka is made from the same water source and by the same employees that Grey Goose uses. Kirkland tequila is produced in the same distillery as Cielo tequila. You can also tell by the bottles. Their imported vodka is the Sam general size and shape of the grey goose, where their American Vodka is basically the same size and shape as Skyy.
I have to strongly disagree with your opinion on both the silver tequila and blended Scotch. The silver tequila is absolutely fabulous with plenty of the citrus and blue agave notes, the blended Scotch however is absolutely trash! It's thin, has a horrible synthetic chemical finish and really has no "smoke" to speak of.
We buy the Canadian whisky and French vodka a few times a year. The Canadian is so close to crown for a much better price. The French vodka is more in line with an absolute or sky in my mind, but still great for the price.
I'm not a vodka person. Kirkland imported vodka is AMAZING. Straight with caviar or smoked salmon, it is to die for. Can't comment on the domestic version. As a rule, I won't go near American gins. Kirklands tastes like up end British London Dry. Straight in martinis or G&T, it's a fraction of the cost of Tanqueray or Hendricks. Their single malt scotches are also prizes. All of their 12 year olds are great, and their 18 year old Highlands is to die for too. (Probably Macallans 18, at a fraction of the price) I've had their 20 year old, and their 27 year old, both good, but the 18 year is clearly their sweet spot for me. I don't drink blended, so I can't comment. They've just started carrying Irish whiskey, so that is a future experiment. Been there, done that with the bourbons, thanks, I'll pass. And since I consider tequilia to be varnish remover, except in a Margaretta, any of the Kirklands will be fine. Now back to my glass of Pinot.
The Kirkland silver tequila went missing for several months in 2018. It came back a couple of months ago in California and it's obviously a different bottler. Used to be much cleaner. Now it has an awful taste. Not buying it anymore.
I do love the Kirkland signature French vodka, but it’s a b**** to refrigerate, or even store. Being that it’s just not something most people wanna “display” I really wish they’d redesign that bottle.
Oh yes! Sour! The silver tequila. That was my thought on my first taste of the Kirkland tequila. That it tasted like it smelled to me. Later I decided the sour smell reminded me of used gym shoes. The off taste is too strong to hide in a margarita. Love all the other Kirkland libations I have had. Think the egg nog in the liquor store they have is the best ever. But the silver tequila I will not be getting again. Glad others are enjoying it but my taste buds are just not into it.
Bourbon may be made in any of the U. S. States, not just Kentucky, and "Tennessee Whiskey" meets the legal requirements to be considered a bourbon. What makes Tennessee Whiskey different is the "Lincoln county process", which is the charcoal mellowing that Jack Daniels touts, and its point of origin. In fact Belle Meade Bourbon is made in Tennessee, and is pretty good stuff.
The Kirkland Costco vodka is not a vodka, tastes like water with rubbing alcohol. Vodka is made out of rye, barley or rice. Costco vodka is 65% pure corn, rest who knows.
I never buy generic store brand anything, I love vodka but I would never settle for a generic brand no matter if it is cheaper I would always pay more for a much better quality name brand, Like the old saying goes you get what you pay for.
@@chrisjoe187 Yea keep telling your self that and maybe one day you really will believe it but for me there is no way I would ever believe cheap generic store brand crap is ever as good as a good name brand, Enjoy your water down cheap want to be crap vodka. LOL
@@toddsnow6438 Hey Todd. Do you even drink vodka? If you do, and you like grey goose, try it. I can almost guarantee you can't tell them apart. If you don't like it, just return it. Costco takes everything back if you're not completely satisfied. Try it and let me know
What's your favorite libations to pick up in Costco?
Their tequila is awful.........
Kirkland Silver Tequila and Irish Creme Liquor.
Red wine.
Their gin is amazing if you like botanical gin. There is a belief by non-gin drinkers that all gin is dry, and dry is only half of the gin world. Botanical gins are extremely tasty and not the same "acquired taste".

Can't wait for Kirki-Kush... 1.5oz for $29.99
Word.
Kirkland Kush lol
Why didn't Kirkland Irish Cream make the best list? It is cheaper than Baileys and you get nearly double the amount. It is a steal!
The fuck? The spiced rum is $13.99 for a handle at my local Costco compared to Captain Morgan right next to it for $26.99.
In 10 years Costco will sell big packs of perfect dense marijuana nugs
JP Landscaping didn’t even think of that shit
Totally gunna shop in the Costco dispensary...
We can only hope.......
Manifesting it!
From your mouth to God’s ear
Kirkland silver tequila is among the best. it's better than Patron. I drink it straight......no training wheels. but then I don't really care for anejos or reposadas, especially if they have that oak barrel after taste. Blanco for me please.
You sir are just looking to get drunk, not there for the actual experience
It's not like Tequila Patron is really good, there's so many better tequilas blancos out there that you should try! I still have to try the Kirkland Signature tequila
Their version of Baileys and Jameson is almost identical to the name brands at a fraction of the price.

My wife loves the Kirkland port wine. Tastes the same as the $35 bottle from Portugal. So does the kirkland one for $24
They’re silver tequila is actually amazing, imo.

Is mashed funded by Costco? How many videos can you make about one store?
That vodka is awesome! I will have to seek out some of those tequilas, the anejo sounds good.
I just took a monster dump
We buy the Canadian whisky and French vodka a few times a year. The Canadian is so close to crown for a much better price. The French vodka is more in line with an absolute or sky in my mind, but still great for the price.
I thought the rum was solid. I usually drink kraken if I have to drink rum. I like this just as much (in a different way)
Forgot to other Kirkland brand liquors such as the xo cognac which I like very much!
The XO is also amazing. On par with the Caymus VSOP18 I used to get in Europe.

Easily the most pretentious comment I've ever seen
As a Canadian Costco employee in Ontario, I'm quite sad they don't carry liquor here 😔🤦♂️
They don't carry it, in New York either. It's a shame, b/c they would make a great deal of money.
this channel gotta be sponsored by these companies
My sis swears by the kirkland vodka. Not even the french one, the cheaper one thats like 14 bucks for a 1.75ml
It's made by titos
They always making videos making me want to sign up for memberships stop trying to take my money !!!!
Costco is a great addiction to have! Just deposited last year's $500. rebate check.
You don't need a membership to purchase costco alcohol.

It literally smells like hand sanitizer

Spiced rum by Kirkland is 46% alcohol at 13.99$ compared to 35% alcohol of capt
Canadian whisky sold well
I absolutely appreciate the taste test however if I’m throwing a huge party I’m buying bulk and Kirkland’s my pick
#VIVACOSTCO
Am I supposed to click on that hashtag? I'm confused.
do not get the Kirkland gin it's terrible, not sure why they skipped it
One of my neighbors gave me a bottle of Kirkland wine-Tasted like shit Tossed it out
The Irish whiskey is excellent
Kirkland Canadian whiskey is really good
RIP Lisa Robin Kelly.
Who?
That was well made and very explanatory.
I don't think these are available on Long Island. I've only ever seen beer and some low alcohol wine
I refill the old bottles with those
Yo...what happened to Kirkland lite? Lol
I live in PA, we don't have booze in public stores :(
Ha if you think your liquor laws are shit try living in Utah
Is Crown Royal a good single?
crown is paint thinner imo
Hahahah don’t listen to a word of this!
I trust KS brand and the value it brings so I never hesitate to try these and they are usually comparable or better than brand names
So... what's the worst?
The Kirkland anejo is good and inexpensive
with that pronunciation you might as well just say awnayjoe
Very low quality bourbon

For the record, you’re completely wrong.
Kirkland brand is great
Never heard of costco heard of Costa coffee. When I saw costco I thought it was about Costa
I find this article is only for alcoholics only
An alcoholic is just someone who drinks more than you.

You mean for adults 🤐

I don’t like gray goose vodka

Bulleit Rye isnt Bourbon, its Rye
The Kirkland Costco vodka is not a vodka, tastes like water with rubbing alcohol. Vodka is made out of rye, barley or rice. Costco vodka is 65% pure corn, rest who knows.
Traditionally vodka is made out of wheat.
Tried the Kirkland faux Crown Royal.....poured it down the sink and bought a bottle of Crown!! She's definitely wrong on that one!!
Why didn't you just give the bottle of whiskey away?
Why do you need the horrible background music? It's just annoying.
They need to change their logo, it looks hella ugly

Kirkland isn't generic, they buy from big distilleries. Your just not paying for the advertising
Tennessee bourbon? Doesn't exist
Sour mash bourbon?
Sponsored by Costco
I farted
Crown Royal sucks. No real Canadians drink Crown.
And no real whiskey drinkers drink Canadian whiskey
Blasphemous
