Tom and ben are by far the best commentators. The brand risk just makes it so much better. And the fact they are so easily distracted and have a tendency to ignore what's happening half the time
The real ideal for actual shoutcasting would have been Harry (but he's in the hot seat) and Shadow (but they'd have to import her and buggerall she'd be hard to get through customs on short notice). The second best choice probably would have been Pyrion and Tom... but the Yogscast choice, well. I'm honestly not sure which I'd have preferred, but somehow it just FEELS more on brand to have Dunc'n'Ose.
i think it's a nod to british Formula 1 announcers. it's funny because usually there are dozens of high-performance racecars exploding into action and here it's just... well... what you see lol
It’s a racing phrase for the start of the race, hailing from back in the day when the radio was the only way to “watch” the race without actually being there. There would be a long and sometimes delayed lead up to the start of the race where the commentators banter and talk about the competitors, but to make sure people heard when the race started and to get their attention, they’d say specifically when it started with some version of “and they’re off” (as in off the starting line) which has since unified and stuck around to this day in various forms. In terms of F1 specifically, the current parlance is “lights out and away we go” as the start of the race is governed by lights that signify the beginning of the race when they go out.
I didn't see all of the stream, but I believe they explained very early on Duncan said it when he thought they were starting playing, but they didn't actually do anything for another 10-15 minutes
"I don't know why they asked us to come here" fucking lol
Brand risk duo, Tom and Ben, has lowered standard so low, this is considered professional by the Yogscast.

@@gyroscope915 just don't have them talk about their favorite Warhammer boys and you're good.
Exactly 20 seconds of professionalism right there.
These two are so much on the same wavelength, they're causing constructive interference on each other
My favorite Duncan comment about their friendship is "Around you I don't have to pretend I'm not stupid" because it is real
It's amazing that Sips will lose it to a troll donation on stream, but have a 100% straight face when someone says Kunterstrike in front of him.
2:23 The realization that they both haven't played the game they're about to cast killed me LOL XD
i dont think they had played valorant either XD
Holy shit, this has encouraged me to go watch it just for Osie and Duncan lmao
Most approachable wholesome "casters" yet
13 hours perfectly summarized
Insert clip of rythian shouting stop it, I know you're not twelve 😂
I'm here just to see sips standing 😮
The pay must have been good to get Sips out of the house.
I like how pale he is compared to the other two guys. lol
Fair play to NVIDIA for at least inviting the yogscast, usually it's the same cabal of media trained presenters
To be fair, I think we all thought the same thing. I certainly did.
Tbf they do have great chemistry
boba in chat at 2:00 cheering them on lol
Best clip of the year so far!
God I love Duncan and Ose 😂
This is gold!
isn't that presenter man Adam Savage (not that one) who used to be on the telly with big Lyds?
"And their off!" wasn't referring to the e-sport players.😂
Absolute pros. The Yogscast guarantee!
Inside of me there are two wolves.
Top notch casters. Totally professsional at all times 🤣
Duncan and Osie did a wonderful job though.
Heh. Heh heh. Ah ha ha ha ha ha. HA HA HA HA HA! *BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!*

Pyrion and Tom WERE the first choice. They showed a t-shirt that was printed for Pyrion lmao
I can’t tell if Dunc’n’Ose is a really good cereal brand or a middling chip (crisp) brand
@@evilemuempire9550 Discount pastry shop. Not the best, but if you're blitzed to the nines it's fookin' incredible.
This was a great stream even tho I never understood the 'and they're off' meme

Thanks for the replies I figured it was some kind of sports term. :)
World's Best Commentary 😂😊
:') hilarious!
