This is still probably my favorite episode of the series. All he had to do was say he was in a relationship. But he was too much of a coward to ever take any action and kept forcing his real girlfriend to face his punishments. And in the end he forgot the one rule she had for him, "you can't ever leave me".

I think because it relates to Karma the girl took on his karma so that's why she had all that bad stuff happen to her. It also showed his true self that he was willing to put his girlfriend through all that rather than owning his shit or giving up his popularity.
