Leigh Bardugo Interviews Rainbow Rowell at BookCon 2015

Guest host Leah Bardugo and Rich Fahle interview Rainbow Rowell about her upcoming book, “Carry On” at BookCon 2015.

I really loved Eleanor and Park because it was not only really sweet and cute, but I felt like I could really relate to how Eleanor felt about her body and her self esteem issues. But (like they were saying) just seeing Park's feeling for Eleanor, and the way he wanted and loved her was more powerful than him telling her how beautiful she was. He showed her and made her feel beautiful. And that's what I LOVED about the book.

Oh, the memories of the Author House Cup from LeakyCon Portland... So happy to have been able to witness the hilarity of a bunch of YA authors with Maureen Johnson acting as commentator and Maggie Stiefvator playing the bagpipes at one point.
