The evidence for Book of Mormon geography in the US heartland continues to unveil itself. I believe it had to be in the Heartland of the US. The evidence I have seen supporting this view is amazing to me. Those supporting the Central America theory have tried to convince others that the evidence for this region is overwhelming. The fact that the LDS Church has taken a neutral position on the Book of Mormon geography says a lot about just how "uncompelling" the evidence really is. Those believing the evidence for Central America is overwhelming might find it interesting that the KEY person in promoting Central America did not find the Central America evidence compelling and left the church because he could not prove the Book of Mormon geography to be correct even after decades of searching and spending millions to prove it based on evidence in Central America. BTW, in one of the calculations, of distance, the number should be 900 and not 90 x 6.6.
