Here I am... Starting over with your lessons. I discovered you 2 or 3 years ago. I was doing your lessons each time that you put one out. And then I had to stop. My youngest son had an adverse life-threatening reaction to the Pfizer vaccine for covid. It has taken him almost 3 years to recover. During that time my mom had a stroke that the Lord saved her from and she was still able to walk and talk. A year later she fell and got a compound fracture in her leg above her ankle. She had surgery and then learned to walk on that leg again. Within almost another year she fell again and ended up in the hospital. She left the hospital and went to rehab. We brought her home while realizing something had changed because she had been walking and then the last couple of days before she left the rehab she was saying that it was hard for her to walk. She was only home for 4 days and then had to go back to the hospital and within another 4 days she had gone home to be with Father in Heaven. I still have to take care of my father, my husband's mother, and his special needs sister who all Count On Me.... as well as my own family. My point.... I lost myself a bit. I've gained weight... In sadness exhaustion and misery. At this point in my life... I am trying to find myself again. And returning to things that fulfilled me in the past. I told you that my son had a friend who was Filipina..... And happily at this point ... She is his LOVE 😍. And... I do think it would be beneficial even more to learn her native language... even though at this point she is completely fluent in English. She is amazing! Beautiful and intelligent! Thank you for these lessons. They may not make you famous with a million views each.... But are so precious to those of us who luckily found your channel. Your voice is amazing.. Your husband's art is a gift... Your children are precious. Thank you❤Be blessed in Jesus 🙏Name❤
I am happy that you passed all those trials in life. You are so strong, you survived all those. I am a survivor too, my 4 sisters and I barely had any food to eat. We sleep early and wake up late during weekends so that we can skip meals. We almost became homeless since we could barely rent a small room. I thought I would never finish school since my mom expected all 5 of us to become house helpers. My siblings and I did everything we could so we could finish school. Good thing we have state universities in the Philippines, so all of us finished school. I think we should just have faith in God and in ourselves to overcome the tests. Cheers to us, fellow survivor! 😇

I’m trying to learn this language because whenever my Tito asks “Can you speak Tagalog?” I have to say I don’t know how to, but the lessons make it so easy to learn! Salamat Po!
Excellent introduction, salamat! As a TESOL qualified ESL teacher trying to learn Tagalog as I consider residing in the Philippines, this lesson reflects my approach to teaching, i.e. understanding a language and its cultural heritage is a much better approach than rote learning.
@AJ W I can't comment on the academic learning of Tagalog, but my approach to teaching Conversational English in China was the Experiential approach, e.g. having students in pairs or small groups and setting real life conversational tasks, such as on a train journey, shopping, introductory meeting, and so on. I imagine that at your daughter's age, she'll have many opportunities to make friends easily. A key to learning any language is to throw yourself in with locals, listening, observing, questioning and attempting to speak their language. The beauty of the Philippines is, of course, nearly everybody speaks some English which helps them to engage in conversation. I go out regularly with my Filipino partner and ask questions about what's written on posters, promos, etc. And asking her to translate a conversation she's had with a Filipino. Does your daughter know any Spanish? If so, she may recognise some Tagalog words, which can be a conversation starter. Hope this helps. All the best for a happy experience in the Philippines to you and your family.
I want to seat by person in your class room, as I have seem tagalog vowel is exactly same with my pronounsation in khasi and same dileges in khasi it is accidentaly or god plan, I am asking whether we are the same ethnical relationship, because the skin coulors is same as my self compared every same, heigh, nose, eye skin colours compered that it appeared out side,
Just a correction: Filipinos from different regions of the Philippines speak specific languages and dialects not just dialects. Dialects are variations of a language. For example, Tagalog-Manila, Tagalog-Laguna, Tagalog-Batangas are dialects of the Tagalog.

@@xt4h3r I have a new series of lessons and it's all about conversational Filipino. I am at lesson 12 now. 😊
@@littlebrowncanadian do you people have lessons regarding the past, present and future tenses in Tagalog like that of English grammar? Please let me know if there is, thanks
And if not then you should work on that, it will help the people (just a suggestion)
@@xt4h3r yes, please check lessons 8, 9, and 10. 😊
I'm Malaysian and Malay is my mother tongue language. I'm really surprise to know that we share similar pronunciation of n, ñ (always spelled -ny- in My) and ng in addition to many other consonants.
Langaw is the same as our Malay langau (big flies). 😍 So interesting and made me want to find out if there are many more words that are similar in Tagalog and Malay.
Thanks for the videos, I discovered this because I suddenly wanted to know a bit about Tagalog.
Wow! Interesting 😊. Thank you for watching my video. I hope you will watch all 18 lessons 😊
There is no “Ñ” and “Ng” in Malaysian alphabet
Ive Been Finding the other chancels making it difficult for me to learn talaog, but this is making it a lot easier thank you. I want to learn Talaog because my Fiancé is philapino and I want to be able to speak her language with her friends and family.

I'm part Filipino from my mom's side. Neither of us are full. However, we still use some of the words. For example, I am an aunt, but I have all my nieces to call me tita, and my mom has them call her Lola. I just decided to learn the actual language instead of just knowing some of the words. I want to be fluent in it!
Thank you for making an effort to learn our language 😊
Amazing video!! Thank u! You teach very well!
