sometimes i feel bad for the foreign workers. some that I know of from my daily interactions with in the construction industry, they came with proper documentation & all but sometimes the employers will not want to renew their work permits due to cost or quota restrictions, thus hiring them illegally. of course enforcement needs to take place to ensure that only lawful foreign workers are here. but lets all admit, whenever u are driving your own car, or in the bus or taking the taxi around singapore, u will see 99% of the general workers doing the hard labor are foreign workers (mostly from india, bangladesh & china). i'm not gonna question whether our own citizens want to do all the hard labor work but i'm grateful that these workers are helping to shape the future of the country (of course, they are paid for their service).
Why is it illegal is because the Government does not benefit from illegal employment. No taxes paid, no levies paid
Thank you so much for your live video.
I hope Singapore's civil servants will treat illegal immigrants and workers with respect, dignity, and courtesy. A professional civil class is something that must be upheld and nourished for existential reasons as the country forges its own identity in a world that is becoming less predictable and chaotic.
Sadly, Singaporean authorities must upgrade their manners.
SPF dept such as ICA, LTA, CPIB….those who work in investigation work….these officers MUST LEARN what’s basic manners and respect towards those whom they are conducting investigations. DO NOT treat those whom they are investigating as criminals….DO NOT judge as they must know they are doing investigations, they are not supposed to judge…
@@loyckfiona funny that those depts are not under SPF
Absolutely agree. They must not abuse their power and treat people with dignity.
you all make it look like the officers were disrespectful. the officers were calm and respectful at all time.
there is really no barier they understand us only us think they dont..
they like to pretent not to understand as to seek pity from us.. as they know us are easy to pity and we are not expose to hardship..
👍🙂
Thank you for enforcing the law and keeping Singapore safe! See few of them harvesting the coconuts and fishing illegally with large fishing nets stretch across the Pandan River every weekend afternoon. Reported to NParks but no action. Do look into it, maybe no job or income therefore resort to harvesting wildlife here.
I feel you , no Departments going to take over the reporting case of their illegally action , especially destroying the marine ecosystem on our coast of littering and gill net fishing if the horse shoe crab and small crab are heavily tangle to remove they just dump it on the beach for more marine animals and rubbish to be caught again with decompose smell
Npark busy looking after ministers greenery from Ridout to Holland Rd to Bt Timah. People very busy you know.
@tangt4860 pls show evidence and proof. If not u r spreading falsehood. Which u anti loves to do.
@@Jack-hy2ki then show us proof since you think it is false. Do your homework boy.
Unless you’ve broken the law, why got so many things to say? Lol! Would you rather the authorities don’t do shit & leave illegals running around? 🙄
Who makes the law these days?
Obviously the workers can't sleep!
You mean raiding their cronies dorm business? Shaking them down for wayang?😆😆😆
Another oppy spreading falsehood. 😂
If only they conduct more raids on rental HDB units owned by ex foreigners, then they will see clearly what many real Singaporeans have to suffer daily.
If you have information, report la… don’t just make things up online and talk nonsense.
@@eatdriveplay you can't read ?
@@tangt4860u suffering? If u r suffering suggest u get off social media and go upgrade urself to get out of suffering. Btw the gov does not make us suffer, u made urself suffer.
Words from the rear of a plp.
alright tmr 8pm raid at your house, see you!!
Show body cam better . Dont hide.
Thank you for the hard work.. but just wondering if handcuffing them is necessary?
Very brave for a lady to be in this work
There are higher percentage of ladies in ICA than any other enforcement agency in Home Affairs.
Tie your hair when doing ops! At least more professional
Agree. If female officer go out on ops, should tie and secure their hair to not hinder ops progress. Otherwise, cut short above shoulder-length.
NEA should learn from this and carry out a stint to nab litterers in the compound outside the dormitories. Most of them are like rubbish dumps.
Sure, nea so free to go there....
Catch the workers; they complain: no money for fine, then go in sit 14 days who pay?
Later employer just pay the fine to stop his worker from lose 14 days of work
Every illegal activities must not flourish in small island Singapore or it will affect our younger generations. Just looked at the recent money laundering that affected the prices n caused prices to sky rocket as they buy " high " will affect prices fluctuations.
Once a while Ops can liao..if not go back office got to write tons of reports..
Thank you for keeping Singapore safe 🙏
Later all the workers go back then u construction your bto yourself...... very safe.😂😂😂
You guys need to do more… hundreds or thousands Malaysian came and work illegally like like Lalamove or construction.
