Africa Skills George Tech Launch

15 July is World Skills Day, recognising the potential of young people as catalysts for change and contributors to a sustainable future. This aligns perfectly with the recent launch of the Africa Skills George Tech campus on Thursday, 11 June. The gala event at the new campus on York Street and PW Botha Boulevard featured campus tours, insights from key role players, and a heartfelt message from founding member Elsie Harmse.
With the new campus, course offerings have expanded to include training for careers as electricians, plumbers, welders, carpenters, millwrights, diesel mechanics, mechanical fitters, boilermakers, auto electricians, automotive mechanics, and solar PV technicians.
