I’d keep it as one property. The top in-development room would be a brilliant office / library. Sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea and a good book would be amazing. Great property. Thank you.
Greetings from Las Vegas NV. USA. I just found your channel and I am so happy I did.. This property is amazing and I can't believe the price. The view is breathtaking and the 2 terraces and balconies plus the garden is a Big Bonus.. Who could ask for anything more.. Thank you for showing homes that are still in the price range of affordability for those on a budget..
I absolutely love this roomy kitchen with loads of cabinets! And the fact that you can come right out of the kitchen to enjoy those terrace areas had me sold on it. Of course, I am an older, retired American high school teacher who will never be able to experience such a life-changing adventure for lack of funds, but a girl can sure dream. You do such a great job showcasing these wonderful homes, hidden gems. And we can surely immerse ourselves in the love that you have for these towns and villages, the people, and the gorgeous views because I now love them as well. You call it your passion. I love watching your videos! I have watched this one many times. Italy, these Marvelous towns and villages, and the promise of a glorious new adventure is what keeps me going. Keep up the great job you always do. Freddie Martin. Florida, USA
We should have combined finances years ago. I, too, am a retired high school teacher, kicking myself for not spending time in Italy. A townhouse there is on the top of my list in my next life.🤭🤫. For me, it’s all about immersion in the culture and touring from a fixed spot.
This property is a jewel. Crazy good price for all it has to offer. I especially love the terraces, balconies, & garden!! Also, a garage! Tons of interior potential, as well. The location is STUNNING with easy access to beach or mountains! Love it!! 🙋♀💜
You truly knocked it out of the park with choosing to video this one. I’d say I’m speechless, but I have so many exciting thoughts. I’d keep it as one full home. The second to the top (unfinished) room I would make the master bedroom and try to squeeze a small toilet rm in there somehow. It has the best views. I love everything about this one. The levels within the home, as well as, the yard, terraces, garden levels are simply amazing. Colledimezzo is in my top 3 favorite towns in Abruzzo so this is just so exciting for me. Bravo David. STUNNING! Ps: i LOVE hearing your excitement and ideas for these places. Never stop with the ideas. I don’t understand people who are negative about this kind of excitement. Baffling. Gotta go now- off to watch it again 😄
The possibilities for this property are endless, given the independent accesses and overall layout. This could easily be converted into 2 large units and the owner would have more than enough space to make it comfortable. You definitely hit it out of the park with this one.
I’m sure this one sold right away but this is the third time I’ve looked at this. This house offers so much. I’d make it one big house with a workshop in that lower room. I could see the kitchen living room as a great space. I love it. That first can be sewing room. It already has a machine. That village and the view is stunning.
I love your videos so much! They lift my heart above the stresses of the day! Your voice adds to the enjoyment...and your commentary is lighthearted! This home would be a joy to renovate and I would keep it as one home! I was hoping you would walk into the Church at the beginning! I love religious antiquities and Italy has such beautiful churches! Thank you for creating your channel for all to enjoy! God bless you and your family! I love the music in the background! 💚💐
This has got to be the best one yet. I'm devastated that we're not currently in the position to move. But I hope there's another gem like this when we are ready to buy. Absolutely STUNNING!!!
@@randomvintagefilm273 100% but we've got a 5year plan for saving. This has reinforced my desire to buy a property in Italy though such an amazing country!
My favorite so far - I would definitely turn the two topmost rooms into my bedroom and a kitchen/dining area and bathroom, and keep the topmost views to myself...
I love this one. I would leave as one but add a bathroom in the front room on all levels that don't have a bathroom. Stacking them would make plumbing easier and may even create a suitable layout for a dumbwaiter to ease carrying groceries and drinks to the kitchen.
David, this is the best sight unseen in person property! Absolutely stunning and absolutely incredible for the price!!! I’m thinking of getting with David Nixon and having a deposit sent to the prevailing Notaio ASAP!!! We can then see it when we are there in Oct for your Oct 12-13 tour! What a great place!!! I can just imagine a great big table out on the terrace with the fireplace, and invite all of the wonderful Colledimezzo Friends we will make over for Pizza, Vino, and more Vino!
I would have expected many more "Stunnings" for this property. I would want the entire property my myself. It does need another full bathroom on the 2nd level. I only wish I knew more about the cost of construction / renovation / etc. for all the work needed and the availability of good & reliable contractors. Also, the time of doing the work. I am going to have to find one of your vlogs on moving to Italy. 👍👍👍👍 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Truly amazing, We are now watching the video fot the third time. We are planning what way we would lay it out 🤓🧑🎨.I don't think it will will still be there when we get there for you tour on the 13 October.(too good,so afordable and stunning) See you in a few weeks,Terry and Breda
If still available. The 1st room you showed. I would make this a warm, cozy library. Add a TV. Over stuffed high back chairs with a couch you sink into. Love it
What a cute village! Way more room than what I'd need but a great space. Especially if I went in on it with a friend who wants the renovation half! But, again, the public transport warning. Have you ever read Tim Parks' Italian Neighbors? I am now and loving the way he describes the little town life. But I think I would need something more towards a small city.
Great potential! I would put in another kitchen in the middle area. I split it up to three separate living areas and rent out two of them and live in one. Then when family comes out to visit, or eventually want to move to Italy, there is a place form to stay while they are looking for their own place. Rental creates additional income to pay off your property early, travel, etc. thanks for sharing!
Just subbed to you cannot believe the prices. I live 20 miles from Sheffield in Yorkshire UK that price would only get me a 2 bed terrace house that would need complete restoration and probably in an undesirable location I think you will be hearing from me in the new year can you get floor plans for the properties you feature it would be handy . Thanks for the inspiration
Man - wish I was ready to move...I love this one! I'd make the top my primary bedroom with ensuite! The view of the lake - yes, please! Thank you for sharing!
Just needs a swimming pool on the big terrace if possible. Best property yet for me. the small garden would be ideal for artists retreat with that view.
All the rooms to the right of each flight of stairs, facing the main street, could be en suite bedrooms for B&B or studio apartments with small bath, kitchenette, living room with murphy bed. That would be 3 income properties either way. BTW, I would keep the powder room downstairs in main apartment.
I'd keep it as one property. I would hate to see it broken up because then each unit would be really small. Stairs in Italy are ubiquitous and steep, so you'd better not have bad hip or knee joints. 😂😊😂😊 I thought you were actually going to take us out to the garden, Dave. 😊😊
My grandparents are from Rocca de Mezzo ..( not sure if I spelled that right ) I’m patiently waiting to have you show me that area . I’ve never been to Italy and it’s my heritage, Abruzzo.
What a fabulous property and your presentation exceptional.. can I ask what with the Garden Garage and possibly separate parts of the property would the buying taxes be quite high in percentage terms.. very much enjoying your content.
Man, this was something! I could totally see it as at least 2 possibly 3 separate units. It was a little confusing with all the doorways and staircases, but I do think it could be done up with 3 units and then create a shared terrace area. Maybe create a little enclosed space for a shared laundry. I would have liked a better view of the garden. My mind is spinning with the potential!!
I was waiting to see the garden/green space, but you never went up there! Oh well, way too many stairs for me anyway! Someone young who wants a projects would be great for this house!
I'm working on moving to Italy ASAP. I especially like this property. How does a retired senior get the information necessary to move into a property like this. How are the purchase options different there? Owner Carried Finance? Great Video.
David you are hilarious. You made me giggle when your camera cut out. INCREDIBLE property and village. Great video. Gina in Upstate New York USA moving to Portugal. How do you do the cuing of the church bells. This property is uncrazy real. WOWZA STUNNING David. WOW! I would have loved to see the garden at the back...
The views are wonderful. Its great to have those terraces and ground to grow things in. I couldnt give that up! I think the front could be a separate unit although that apartment would have the front balcony the unfinished one goes with the back home. This may mean giving up the garage to the front apartment unless another front door or terrace door was made into it. Or was there? The first room could have a bathroom added and make that the bedroom, then a kitchen added to the lounge. A separating locked door could make it separate from the back home. Or buy the garage of whoevery owns that other part of terrace? Maybe too valuable to for anyone to loose a garage.
lowest room would be a living room with sofa bed and turn the storage unit into a bathroom. second floor would leave assignment of rooms as is but upgrade the powder room/restroom. room with balcony in front would be the living room vs another bedroom. would put locks on doors on second level in case two families would like to air b&b. tile the roof terraces, clean up the gardens and earn some money before upgrading the upper floors . . . ha ha! the views are spectacular. the price even more so.
I would leave as is for now and make the first room a bedroom and top floor room my office when I'm there. Eventually add a full bathroom to the first floor and half bath to the top floor.
Really nice TLC project. I would invest another $75,000 to $100,000 to get it all completed and updated. Furnished: But a little at a time. And maybe make two to three apartments.
Amazing property. So much potential. It makes me sad that as an American citizen I wouldn’t be allowed to own a vehicle. I love Abruzzo but so many lovely towns require a vehicle. I do love dreaming though.
Definitely keep it as one property. Not everything has to be split up so that you share everything with another family. Sometimes, space is a good thing.
Brilliant vid David (as always). On a house of this size etc, how much would the property tax cost on an annual basis? Thanks David and all the best (ATB) matey.
In the video when you show the building from the side there's 2 balconies on the very very top level on the side of the building. You go out on one but the one near the back over the original two bedroom is not shown nor in the video does it seem to be accessed from the house is it part of the property or part of the next door property. Thanks
I’d keep it as one property. The top in-development room would be a brilliant office / library. Sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea and a good book would be amazing.
Great property. Thank you.
Great place , unbelievable price and the view! I'm just happy about the 5 door wardrobe!!!🤯👍
This property is worth every penny. So many possibilities to put your own signature and finish the top floor project. Amazing views ❤
I know what you mean, but it's not worth every penny, it's worth many, many more pennies.

I thought the same thing. Big kitchen and dining. First floor studio apartment. B&B the upper floors. I did so want to see the garden.

Love this house what a bargain.

Your videos are so dreamy to this American. This town is stunning!
Wow really amazing property. Love all the rooms.
What a find❤️ unbelievable price so much room and great terraces and a garden!!

All I can say to you is don't miss out. It's simply just too good, and that doesn't exist anywhere in the world anymore. Good luck to you.
For that price you can't get a 1 bedroom flat where I live. A flat in a building next door sold for 93000€ and it was only 27m2...
