- Here are the Top 50 cars that I filmed at the L8-Night Event in Germany. My list differs very slightly form the official timing list, as I did not film 100% of the runs. It is however very close. With times ranging between 10.63 and 8.97.
A lot of the quicker cars, just entered Cash Days, which is over an 1/8th of a mile, as the 1/4 mile is difficult, due to the bend in the track after the finish line. Check out that video on. the Channel.

The Ford pop. 9.8 lifting at 1/8 mile... with a little lift at 80 meters.. only 163 km/h at the 1/4 mile. Pretty impressive.
They reckon an 8.7 without the lift 💪💪💪
Man this is like heaven for me. These are all the vag cars we didn’t get in the states.

Actually crazy to see the blue HST Golf still going. Was a street car years ago and was frequent at the original Wörthersee events.

9,82 in the Orange Ford POP Twin Rotrex with 163 km/h over the line at 402m.... Letting off after 201m, where it was going 5,669@203,2 km/h...
So we were fastest on the 201m of all the cars, but did not drive full distance.
Would have been a 8.7xx run, if he had stayed in it and even faster, if he did not have to lift throttle at 100m, because it spun the tires.

@@VeeDubRacing On true noprep we have been 5,36@214 on 1/8 and 8,5@264 km/h on 1/4 mile, but that was with a 5,54 1/8 mile first half.
Later this year we are aiming for a 8.2 on 1/4 mile.
All this is on a airfield with absolutely no prep or any other cheatcodes 🙂
We mostly only run 1/8 mile because Andreas thinks it's not funny going that fast in the car on the 1/4.

This looked like such a great event. Much rather see these highly tuned old golfs and Audi's etc than re mapped pop and fart more modern cars. Great video 👍🏻 also, i would come last as i drive a ford transit 😂😂
@stringsgb8833 It was a brilliant event, with loads of cool cars. Only issue was, being a race track, I was limited where I could stand to film. Good old Ford Transit 💪💪

Dead last, my honda spree scooter is 49cc and 1 speed, i can hit 35 if i'm going downhill with a tailwind!

So what I can tell here from the USA....
You need to turbo charge you big 1.3ltr blocks to go fast.
What an annoying sound from most of those vehicles.
Not sure where I would come. Never run my saffie cossie down the strip. It only comes out in the dry. It's 680hp 4x4 don't think i could don't want to break it she's my baby ❤

@@VeeDubRacing The right lane always had -1.5xx sec reaction time.... was fixed later in the evening ????? 🤷🏻♂️ but the speed with the end time doesn't quite match

How many opel's did you see? How many of them won their race? I love it when an opel shits on a veedub
@hermanbotha1449 There was the Quattro Calibra, and a big power Nova and Corsa. Not sure what races they won, or if they sh1t on any veedubs 😂

Ich weiß nicht Leute, ich finde solche Beschleunigungsrennen echt aus der Zeit gefallen. Nicht nur wegen Klima und allem, sondern weil es heute eine reine Materialschlacht ist, also man kann auch 1000 oder 2000 PS in ein Auto bauen, ist alles nur noch eine Frage des Geldes - was ist daran 2024 noch besonderes??

why so many cars with parachute? They dont even need it because they "slow"
Any car capable of running a 1/4 mile terminal speed over 150mph should have one, whether the track conditions on the day allow that, shouldn't mean you should just remove it. (in my opinion)
VW has definitely won the cup for the ugliest cars 😂

Power adder racing 🤣 I ran 10.00 34 years ago in an N/A 3300lb real street car....over the QUARTER, funny stuff to see 30 years development going slower🤣
@markholroyde9412 This is not a track for records due to the bend after the finish. Some cars that attended were capable of running in the 7's. What car were you driving, and what engine 😎
@@VeeDubRacing The best example is Jürgen Dutter with his Audi TT at (11:05). He drives a 10.092 here, his best time on a prepared track is 7.957.
@wirtschaft1461 Exactly 💯 I think this event is more about the venu and having a good time. Records can be broken at other tracks 💪💪
