    The analysis is very misleading. No mention of fund performance in terms of returns, no focus on turnover/ churn number, top holdings/ sectors of the fund etc.
    AUM is not the main parameter to decide whether one should continue the SIP, sell/ hold existing units etc.

    It's not about funds not doing well but stocks that are present in it. Axis is focussing on growth and the year 2022 was already hit by recession. The correlation of slowdown in growth stocks with recession is known. Nothing to worry about. Intelligent and Patient investors can remain invested.

    One thing I came to know after watching a lot of RUclips videos and actually investing that we (retail investors) are at the end of the chain always. Once all the gains are garnered by top levels info is distributed to us so they can dump it on us. We are left with nothing but to wait and watch with our funds stuck. It's really not good to watch all this RUclips and internet stuff for investment. The game is over by the time we come to know about its existence. Just try investing in Quant now(coz retailers are made aware of it) and see it fall next year. It's a sad reality of retail investors and common man who actually is running this country silently.

    I hv been investor in Axis MFs since 2011, it did great then, but for the last 5 years it is badly underperformed peers and indices.
    The comparison chart should be return based here not AUM, then u see the underperformance for many years.
    Part reason that its CIO left and started his own PMS/smallcase. And they are not at all agile in taking calls, mostly extreme overvalued co.s in Portfolio.

  • @devalpatel552
    @devalpatel552 Год назад +6

    Shouldn't we compare the AUM growth of similar size funds since we were taking above average growth as benchmark ? For eg. A small fund (less AUM) might double the AUM next year with 200% growth but similar is not possible for large fund (more AUM) mainly due to its size. For large fund, even 30% growth in AUM might be good and for small fund, even 70% might also not be good.

    Axis will definitely make a comeback when market will favour its strategy of stock selection called Growth. These days Value/Contra strategy is in fashion. Remember, in 2020 when Covid happened nobody knew for how long this will stay and only seasonal investors invested who have seen seasonal cycles of ups and downs. My take: Invest most in Axis. In next 5 years it will give 20+percent returns

    I don't know what value add you provided with this video. Any sensible guy who has been investing in MFs for a few years understand this. You should have given a clear verdict whether with current set of fund managers Axis is a good fund house or not. Anyone can beat around the bush. Clearly waste of time to hear your this video. 0 ratings
