Absolutely agree with Briar, Dusknoir line getting banned. I don’t know how reasonable it is, but I absolutely am on board with that take and will be doing touchdown dances in the endzone when that announcement is made (COPIUM).
Yeah I sure hope Dusknoir gets banned. Without Dusknoir, Briar is a toxic but very limited card, but with Dusknoir in the format it's impossible to play around. And the other side of Dusknoir is the decks that aim to turn 2 double dusknoir and wipe your board before you even get a chance to play the game.

what are y'alls thoughts on zard lists more akin to pedro pertusi's from worlds (3-1-3 zard line with heavy ball to find your rotom or mander if they're prized) i agree that zard lists have gotten greedy but in my experience pedro's list is the best compromise in a format demanding techs and also consistency
The 3-1-3 line is great, I have had little to no problems finding my manders and charizards. I don’t play heavy ball but it’s pretty good to constantly have access to rotom.
I think 3-1-3 is fine, I've even been dropping to 3-1-2 with a Stretcher. I don't really like Heavy ball in Zard since you don't need it most games and the ones you do I'm not sure you have time to use an Arven/Quick Search on it. - Ciaran
@@fps_krow I’m pretty opposite of Ciaran on this one. I like heavy, as so much of your setup is reliant on Rotom and with the thinner basics lines i actually like having one, the switch often off arven is just nest for heavy so it’s not an atrocity. I also as I mentioned am not a fan of the super thin lines, I get we have rods and stretchers but having 2 zards is just not up my alley. Your deck is so fundamentally strong that if it streams zards you’ll win almost every game, I’d rather play every out to consistency. There’s no right way to do it but thats just how I feel about it 🤷♂️ -Aneil

I think that Hydreigon has a lot of potential. Even though it's very difficult to enable, it can win the game with ease in two attacks. If someone can figure out how to power this card up reliably, even if on turn three, this card will be competitively viable. 390 damage (420 with defiance band or 430 with Mochi) per turn is absolutely crazy.
And I predict that Snorlax wins Joinville while Grand Tree Gardevoir wins Dortmund. I also predict that Blissey toolbox will top 16 one of the tournaments.
I think it is a card to keep an eye on if they ever print more support in the future. It probably farms the aggro 2 prize decks if you can set up. I also like the Grand Tree prediction, would be cool to see someone break the card! - Ciaran.
Agree with Ciaran about bolt. Also, its not favored into drago i dont think. I have like a 90% win rate against bolt with drago. So i feel like its 50 50 or worse into the top 4 or 5 decks.
If Bolt just draws what they need they will always beat Drago. I think the matchup is at worst 60-40, but I agree it isn't that strong in to the other top decks - Ciaran
Tatsugiri in expanded might need a ban... turn 1 guzma hala for sparkling crystal + dde + stadium of choice. The number of broken combinations with this card if you're able to do this turn 1 (which you always will unless you prize sparkling crystal) is just a bit scary
