    His fast and short back swing loads a tons of energy to the end of the club before he even starts the downswing

    He's hitting the compressor wedge. Great training aide. Love that swing

    Amazing how his left arm does not work to the inside at all. It stays outside and down the line pretty much. It never really leaves the plane it starts on.I have a tendency to suck my left arm in and against my chest getting the club in a cramped over the line position at the top.

    I need to work on shortening my backswing. Too much goes wrong at top

      I am the same way, if I try a full back swing it just goes to hell. I have been working on like a 66% swing and its working really well.

      Yep I'm very happy with my irons but for some reason I let my driver go wild at the top so there's no hope for any consistency

      @@226butters226 I find if I don't complete my driver backswing things get silly. I just focus on my takeaway and tempo and I normally make really good swings. Danny Maude did an excellent video on takeaway. It helps. Finish the backswing and then start the downswing. Iron swing definetly can be shorter though.

    pure upper body strength, rotating as a result of the arms swinging.

      Why does his hip move first then? Starts dropping into hinged position immedietly meaning the opposing muscle groups in the opposite hip are firing as well

      Bowed is what they call that wrist angle

    • @rainfallseattle
      @rainfallseattle Год назад +2

      You have to be really athletic and use your body to rotate excessively if you want to make your wrist bowed at the top as John Rahm and Dustin Johnson. Not for the amateurs at all.
