31" Personal Best Snakehead goes Insane on my Old Town Sportsman 106 Kayak!

- Well, after a few trips out getting skunked, I really feel like I got a good handle on fishing for Northern Snakehead using topwater frogs! This was an epic day as I caught my first Dragon or Trophy Snakehead and all were caught on topwater... which was also a first!
My day started late so I rushed to get on the water and in the process I forgot my net and pliers! It's a small miracle that I actually landed two nice Snakehead on the kayak with only my hands and a new lip gripper that I apparently need more experience with.
So I started the day throwing High Octane Custom Bait Mini Trident in some water transition areas and then threw a white Ribbit frog and got no bites. As soon as I switched to the LiveTarget White I hooked up to a dragon and while I thought I really set the hook strong, he jumped about 4 feet out of the water and shook the hook and worst part is I didn't catch it on video. My fishing shirt hood actually covered my head cam for the first two videos taken and I lost a bunch of good footage of misses and hookups.
I did get enough footage to share the catch of my personal best Snakehead of 31 inches and a nice 24" that both had some crazy Snakehead dancing and escape strategies! These elusive fish are escape artists and this video is proof of that! I'mm still not sure how the 24 stayed on the boat, but I guess that was a "Luck & Blessed" thing there.

Thx brother! Yeah net and pliers were in the truck. Luckily both hooksets were at the mouth. Not sure what I would have done if frogs were down deep!

No sometimes I take a trailer and I tie down the hatch
