I finally got to review one of these the other weekend, wish I would have seen this video first could have used some of your points! I loved the car and I am hoping to put one in the collection for the channel. Good video man. The brakes were a little to get used to but man did they work great and gave you a ton of confidence.
Why your car doesnt crackle? My friends R8 crackles like hell. And its stock. Furthermore you dint have the yellow orange green shift light from 6000 rpms up
That's the absolute dumbest feature ever on a car, that the engine has to be on to open the engine cover.. What if I need access to my engine but my battery is dead and I can't turn on the car? Just dumb.
Daily driver? Yeah, I guess if you can afford the car you can afford all the fuel you're going to burn because it does not get even poor fuel economy, but slightly less. I love car reviews as much as anyone, but am I alone in being rather tired of fan-boy reviews? Every vehicle and I mean every vehicle has shortcomings. The R8 is a wonderful car as long as you can afford to feed it. That includes maintaining it which is also quite expensive with things like oil change/services coming in around $700. They are also rather notorious for leaking certain fluids, so as an owner, constant minor maintenance isn't just what you should do (and most do not), but a must to protect your investment. In summary, if you're going to suggest this as a possible daily driver, how about discussing the full truth of ownership instead of just the dreamy experience of driving the vehicle.
@@troystcyr3771 , true! Probably not an inexpensive daily either. But, I'll bet the R8 with it's thoroughbred blood requires more maintenance than an f350.
@@nYdGeo They do, I daily a Maserati Granturismo and it defiantly requires more attention than other standard cars, but nothing out of the ordinary. Now if we start talking about Ferraris/McLaren's/v12s and timing belt cars that's a whole other issue. Valve adjustments for v12's, certain DCT's and Carbon Ceramic breaks can make things very, VERY expensive; Think in the multiple tens of thousands $$$.
11:00 bruh, the views and sounds together.

Supercars and practicality; close but no cigar
Your reviews are really good man 🔥💯💯
Thank you!
Would love to drive one of these!
We will one day
This review was well done... kudos
My dream car! nice review :)
That sound!
Why are you shifting soo much… you went from 2 to 4 straight away surely that’s bad for the engine
I love to see r8's in simple colors
I would definitely daily it however does it have a front lift?
Has this car been lowered or is it stock suspension?
Man that sounds so good. I would probably never use the radio with that.
Beautiful ❤️

SAME!!

11:34 Doing a pull in the right lane past parked cars and a driveway which has it's visibility blocked by them was probably not the best idea.
Sometimes the driver can see better than the camera shows I think. I had an experience with that situation once.
Great car!
Ben is cute! 🥰
If you had the money would you rather get this or the C8? Would you keep it naturally aspirated or put a twin turbo kit?
R8 foresure although it’s a lot more money, and I wouldn’t tt I would supercharge it from vf
Super charge for sure
My dream car
That accellerates similar to my 06 4runner 🤣🤣
3:14 Siri always interrupting reviews lol
First time it happened for me😆

@@Mr.Incrediblis do u happen to know the miles per gallon? Or fuel consumption
@@jmoneyyonkers2209 about 8-10mpg lmao
@@lukes7457 damn that’s bad
I feel like it would be hard to stay under 100 mph, I can barely keep my a4 under 70 and that’s not even a special car😂😂😂
Same with my Alfa Romeo 😂😂
i wish someone could test drive the spyder. is it that much better or different?
It weighs more and has less interior space.

A porsche is a daily driver supercar, it's like the miata of supercars.

It’s litteraly an audi with a hurrican V10 in it.
Is this a 2020?
2016-2019
Great car, but for the price there's other cars I'd like instead.
Like?
Instead of buying a LOTUS or C8, sell the supra and buy this.
It’s above the budget that I have set for the next car

Chrysler Dodge license plate frame. Seriously.

130k for used????? A brand new BMW M5 Compitition is way better. It's a family supercar.
You can buy a used M5 for 80k with 10k miles. 130k for a used r8 used to be close 200k is good a deal.
@@tritonh5683 2021 m5 starts from 103k. Competition will be close to 115k. So don't need to look at a used one!!
