Not that I think it’s bad, quite the opposite actually, it’s just that the original band had that certain magic that even when they brought in the brass and the extra guitar, at least they had some of the magic left. It was still good to see them. Now I prefer to see Straighten Out, because you know it’s not the Stranglers, that I can really get into the live vibe of the music again. It’s good to see that John is still looking good 👍
@@paulmason2036exactly . So many fans can’t see their fave bands because lots are Dead . Dark Matters was a brilliant opus . Not many bands can release such a great work in trying and upsetting circumstances…and they did lots of it ….in lockdown remotely . The Stranglers reason d’etre has been the same since day one . We will do things our way and fuck the rest . Gutted I couldn’t get to RAH .
Should have called it a day when Hugh left the band; it's never worked the same since. Baz is just awful and J.J looks like he should be playing in a pop band.
The Stranglers, big part of my life, Thank you Toby, Jim and Baz for stepping in and filling those big shoes
Fais moins son malin avec sa basse J. J... Sont où Dave et Jet?
Fais chier...
One of the most creative punk era bands ever… with a range of magnificent songs..
❤ The Stranglers, best rock band ever!!!
They really came out with some great songs . With all the vids on here i’m almost hearing all of them . Fly Straight to the next 50 years ♥️✊
Always loved this song. I don't have a favourite Strangers song, it depends on the mood I'm in, but I always end up back at The Raven.
Brilliant❤
Nothing short of brilliant fantastic musicians
Saw the Stranglers back in the day, with Hugh an the boys. Baz, what a legend.
Una banda excepcional en todas sus épocas , muy grandes.
This is a good 'live' version of this iconic song. *Long Live The Stranglers!*
Nice to hear.new material.
Magnificent tune!
Because my friends Hugh wants the world. Baz is The Stranglers thick and thin.
Baz has done a fantastic job. Total respect.
❤❤❤❤❤
Hey 'Lighting Tech' there are other colours available you know? lol They do sound good though don't they?

R.I.P..TWO.😢
The Meninblack were meant to play the Black Country
wheres hugh cornwell?
Life long Strangs fan here but this is a parody at this stage.... give it up.... its as bad as the Paul Roberts thing.... jeez
No discredit to the guitarist but why is Hugh Cornwell flouncing around away from this? I just do not get it.
The Stranglers ? Quarter of The Stranglers more likely.
And your point being is?

Saw the original line up many times. Hats off to JJ ,Baz and the guys for carrying on.
The other,s are dead.
The others are dead
The tempo is a bit too slow.
JJ's voice totally gone at this stage (excuse the pun)
I promise you it's not, was amazing I glasgow.
