Gloria has a very attractive voice and it all comes so easy. Once in Ulster, long ago, I bought an LP with Irish Folksongs, so she is quite all-round ánd talking easy ánd beautiful. A talented lady! love from the Netherlands.

I remember in particular her "Connemara Cradle Song", among many other folksongs from all over Ireland.

Gerry nicol And she is so proud of her Irish heritage that she got rid of her Irish accent.

@@hemmay that's silly, she's been living in London probably, surrounded by Londoners and she's got rid of it the same was how she'd acquired it! When she comes home, she speaks with an Irish accent, like her family. Strong accents can be hard to understand and that's it! It's just an accent. She hasn't murdered anyone.

That's even sillier. Get real. She had lessons to try and get rid of her accent the same as James Nesbitt and Eamonn Holmes.

      @@hemmay you were there?
Even if she did, what's wrong with that?
Nothing, no one is forcing you to get rid of your thick accent!
