- We had a great time at the Battle For Lost Angeles Desert Fox Event at George Air Force Base in Victorville, CA. We mobbed 8 deep, with most of our crew having never played an outdoor game of this scale. It was fun (and challenging) to step out of our comfort zone and hit a "milsim" event.

Great seeing you guy's out there. I've come to appreciate DFE for creating a way to bridge the gap between both the hardcore milsim community, casual weekend warriors, and the speedsoft community.
DFE's a great bridge for sure, especially for players/teams like us who want to play big outdoor events - thanks @DesertFoxAirsoft
One thing I find super cool is how the hyper-competiveness of speedqb; with fast and aggressive movements, lots of communication, and good situational awareness, leads the SYG team to do very well in a milsim game.
Mass respect for going out to a millsym and showing that airsoft is airsoft no matter what other name you give it I think if you both groups of people came out and tried each other’s side of things there would be no fight over it
The fight comes from people overshooting and mag dumping under the guise of "speedsooooft"
Until we get rid of toxic people, until I stop bringing new players to airsoft and hear "those guys with the colorful pistols and paintball masks were assholes", the debates will rage.
Honestly though, I don't have any issues with their kit or game style, I just wear camo and coyote brown gear so I don't unfairly get matched up with toxic "speedsofters"

Should do more scenarios like this cause you'll learn more and show that even speedsofters can be a force to be reckon with

If they had another squad playing aggressive like that on their team, the problem of getting flanked by a large force would be mitigated but holy shit one guy stop multiple squads which hindered the enemy force quite a bit from those building which was insane.

This is what you get when guys do multiple airsoft styles. Ive never been much of a fan of being too speedsoft or too milsim. This aggressive, cooperative play with great movement; mixed with room clearing, long distance standoffs, and tactical angles is like the perfect airsoft to me. More people in airsoft should try more things on all sides. You don't have to be running and gunning like a kid off their meds, and you don't have to be acting like it's a military operation.

I have to say I wish this was the same for paintball as well theres a weird divide between speedballers and magfed I wish regardless of the format we could all enjoy the sport we love just like the Airsoft vs paintball debate we're all playing a combat sport personally I feel like it doesn't do either sport any good fighting between each other I love Airsoft and I play paintball competitively so I don't get the ones better than the other
@@itsyaboimat2393 I of course started out in paintball and then moved over to airsoft several years ago when I discovered AirsoftGI and that it wasnt just Walmart guns(lol), I still do however appreciate paintball and had lots of fun playing, I just prefer airsoft now.
@@sportsbanter3885 I know alot of guys moved over to Airsoft due to $$$ but want to train with their real steel firearms so that's how they built their airsoft guns because bbs are cheaper than bullets
