The ‘little slip thing’ is called an OBI strip. Radiance took the idea used in Japan to display titles (in Japanese for foreign releases), price, date, etc on CDs for example so as to not spoil the original artwork. You are supposed to keep them and are designed to be small enough to put on the inside.

Oh I do keep them and put them on the inside but Radiance themselves didn't expect people to do so
