Slight correction, they're AstORflex, not AstROflex. I have a pair of their chukka boots, forgot what the specific model name was, but it's in a green suede with the crepe rubber outsole. One of my most comfortable out-of-the-box boot experiences, they broke in completely in just a little over a week. Definitely look out for deals from their official stockists, I got my boots for under $100 on sale.
tHERE'S a handmade boot company in Mexico that makes a similar slipper. Cordobes. Handmade, but, slightly less refined than these ones. However, Astorflex does not have wide sizes and Cordobes does.
I’ve been here for 15 years and love it. It’s not always the easiest city and these days it’s getting difficult to find an apartment but it’s home and I’d not change it.
Man... I love Astorflex, but there are much more beautiful ones... meaning their Bitflex or their Greenfelx (which I own) Great quality and still value for money!
With the rolled up pants they look a little feminine in my opinion, in a 55 year old female school teacher kind of way. I'd stick to pairing them with full length trousers. But what a cool company, what a great price and that huckberry colour is the best of the bunch. I have no idea if you're homeless or both you and your partner and new child are homeless, if you're still together or what. But it can really be a difficult time in any of those situations and it takes a lot of character to not let radical changes like that sweep in to the focus of your videos, so hats off for the determination.
It's called the midsole I believe. I see stitch down construction which means they're resoleable. Bro homelessness?!?!?! Omg I hope everything is OK. I was homeless for 6 years. Not fun.
Not cheap but affordable. And a quality pair of shoes (Loafers) for 200 $ - that’s really affordable. The Tricker’s Loafers shown in that video are about 600$ .. And that’s a hefty price, right? I own a pair of Derbies from Tricker’s, and don’t get me wrong, those are great shoes. They look awesome, they are Goodyear welted and the quality of the leather is top notch. They are British made country shoes, and they are built like tanks. And breaking them in is a pain in the ass .. Damn, you have to suffer to make them your shoes. Astorflex on the other hand are well made Italian shoes, and they are comfortable from the get-go. I think 200$ for a really comfortable, quality pair of Loafers from an Italian family business is a bargain. I know 200$ is still a lot of money, but you won’t regret buying them once you wear them.
Bro where you been??
Hope you’re well! Hope to see new videos cheers!
So glad to see you post again Matt.
Was just thinking about where you've been.
Not me catching up on your entire video collection and reading the comments to make sure you’re all good. New fan to the channel, great work man.
Good to see you back Matt more videos please.
Hope that you will come back!
Where is bro?

Where have you gone duuuude?
4 months since this last video of yours. Hope everything is OK, Matt. I miss your work!
Are you coming back to do videos about jeans and accessories. I got a pair of unbranded jeans. Actually, I got three pairs. No regrets.
Any updates on these? How did they break in? I’m reading mixed reviews. Thanks
Good video about a good brand. I have a pair of their dessert boots and they are super comfortable even in hot climates.

Sorry to hear about the non-sartorial related life situation. Hope all has worked out for you and that the channel will be back in 2024!
What happened to him? If I am allowed to ask
Congrats on giving RUclips a rest.

What part about the trickers is not breaking in?
Watch your channel lots. My question to you is (and it’s unrelated to the video) how do you find living in Berlin? I was there in 2011 and loved it.

Where'd you go G?
I like their Chelsea boots.
Where are you Matt ? more content please 👍
we miss you
I think Huckberry is where I first heard about Astorflex as well. Also, that style you received is Venetian loafer. Potato/potato....
Where are you?
Are those loafers comfortable? Is it a true size?
Regards
Carlos
Matt , what's happening mate. Not seen you for a while. Hope your good man
Nice.

Ahh youtube channel to rival the self absorption and ego of the urban gentry.

if you feel that the outer sole is slippery avery cobbler can put a little rubber sole guard its also make it last longer and it's not expensive!
