Because that was the Wickedest form he's ever had 1st off,2nd off I would have annihilated the Autobots one at a time and left Optimus Prime for last. I know that sounds wtf at worst but I've always adored the bad guys and the only reason they ever lost besides only the good guys being allowed to win, was timing and their team lacking discipline. Sorry kinda long but I've had this question in mind for a minute to ask you. Also I would have chose Megatron. He was My absolute number one pick until I saw Scourge.

I'd have to say I'd pick one of the fliers capable of solo interstellar travel, the TR version of Sixshot who's got a human-size Headmaster and say that's a Pretender form for prefertence. I'd pick a sciencey one like Perceptor or Wheeljack (my favorite character) who could just build their own ship if that was off the table, but would rather have them as companions.
He's just a chonky little red and blue man-o-boxes and I am so here for that. These G1 mini-bot updates just keeping knocking it out of the park one after another. I would like to see them include a couple more accessories to make up for the small size of the figures, a blast effect or some recogniseable item they used in an episode or something, though. Heck, just some generic energon cubes with a flip-out 5mm peg non one side so they can be carried or folded in to be stacked up.
Waiting on my Gears to ship out from EE. I await the swerve repaint/retool to come (well hope anyway) Minibot wise, who do we need. A none hollow(titan master cockpit)Windcharger comes to mind, PowerGlide, Seaspray, Outback, rerelease Cosmos, and well dunno who else. Maybe the Throttlebots? Who was surprised didn't have a size comparison with a Black suit spider-man. IYKYK
I am absolutely loving this toy. I can finally get rid of my bootleg Gears (magic Square Spider gear). Hopefully we will get Windcharger, SeaSpray, & Powerglide.
Wheels on releases are getting so skinny like bicycle tires. What throws me about the head is how far back it sits from the chest. With that being said I'm still in love with the figure and so glad to get him. Lets see a Swerve now and would really want to get a Windcharger and Tailgate next. 🤞😁🤞

Shame he doesnt have bigger wheels but I like the way they hide away his wheels and such. Pretty unusual for a 4 wheeled vehicle mode, I'll give him that.
I really, really wish the chest plate could fold under the truck in vehicle mode, even the folded-over legs look better as the back of the truck than the upside-down chest does. Other than that I don't really mind the truck mode, it'd be nice to have thicker wheels but I get they have to be the way they are for the transformation, gotta hide them away somewhere. Great figure all-around otherwise
Just picked this guy up today because I guess I'm just collecting the whole G1 cast now... and for just $20! Dudes defonitely worth kt, he is a fun if odd little guy. I find it hard to complain about his wheels now that I have him, hes a very cool and satiafying little figure.
Been waiting for Gears to get an update for a long time, so I'm glad he's worth it. Transformation is ingenious without being overly complex, bot mode is fantastic, vehicle mode is compromised but still good, I'm a fan. From the pictures I was expected him to be an official supplement to the MechFansToys version rather than blow it completely out of the water, but here we are. There was a Constructicon-colored version of the G1 mold released in Brazil, so I'm really hoping they'll give us a Decepticon version of this mold in those colors, and/or the other Brazilian decos.
I'm almost afraid to buy any mainline figures. They usually end up putting out a better one in the Studio Series line. But I can't resist a G1 mini bot.
Quick question, did you get G1 Gears before, or after you saw him in the comic with Spider-man and Megatron? I really like this figure, he's fun to transform, and I don't mind the wheels everyone seems to complain about. Another fantastic review, and congratulations on 18K! How cool would it be to have cross line compatible blast effect for GIJoe, Marvel, Power Rangers, and Transformers? I don’t collect anything but TF. However, I can imagine folks who dip into other lines would have a…blast.
I'm not good at this. Not sure where to send messages. I noticed that in some previous videos you've questioned the scale of figures such as 2 voyager figures though one is smaller. I read somewhere that a while back hasbro changed their scaling from size to weight which is why a smaller figure may have a voyager price if it weighs more. Not sure if that's still the case but it's what I read
2:52 no! Less plastic is better! I got no issues with minor assemblage. Not sure why it’s a problem for anyone else. Hell, if it will reduce production costs, why not sell them in pieces? Just assemble them like gunpla or other similar model kits. Replace the pins with screws and we’re aces. Just a thought. Minor assembly like with gears is not a bother. Other figures have been packaged in parts due to spacing concerns or needs. I don’t see this as any different.

The W is actually an M for Mysterion. That’s the toyline some of the G1 minibots came from.

Can’t wait for mine to arrive. G1 Gears was my first ever Transformer when I was a kid. I’m very excited to see an upgrade.

Gears is a bit small in alt mode, but articulation in bot form is fantastic. Just missing an ab crunch.

Don't get me wrong, it was no problem assembling (as I showed), I just find it funny that they have to do that now.
