    I'm impressed with the way you have your toolbox organized. It makes it easy to see what tools are missing when packing up, and also finding the necessary tool easily when performing a job, even when directing another party to get you such and such tool located in such and such area!

      I like your comment on the tool box, especially the part of directing someone else to you're box.
      It takes longer to explain where it's at rather than going and getting it yourself.lol

    I own one of these, and i LOVE it!! I've had it about ten years, and used it for mobile service, bolted down to the truck bed. I bought mine from North 40 for about $575.00 plus tax. Then it took me another 8 years to find the bottom to it, as NOBODY had them. I finally found one in Great Falls, Montana, and i drove over 200 miles to get it! ( another $600) . My only complaint is there isn't extra pegs for my 12-point sockets. Also, now that i have the bottom chest, i use the upper left hand part for extensions, ratchets, and frequently used screwdrivers, nut drivers and torx drivers. When full, the top half requires two people to lift and move. i keep all my impacts under the socket tray. I HIGHLY recommend this tool chest!! It is designed that when the lid is shut, that it "clamps" all the wrences and sockets in place, so the never spill, even on a very bumpy road.

      Its been about a year now with this box and for the last 5 months its been bolted down to my flatbed. Ive had that truck airborn in fields and the tools never move around on me. Perfect for the work I do on heavy equipment. I'm looking at another one to throw on my dually

      @@rusty1187 I was down in snyder texas a few months ago and they stock them in the tractor supply their. Next time I'm down there on a job I'll grab another. Took me years to find this one locally. I wanted to be able to actually see one before i bought it.

      I searched for the best price on this exact tool box the 36 inch and found it really cheap at a John Deere store by Tellus in Texas. Called several stores and they had different pricing. Old inventory is around $650 and they give military discounts 10%.

  • @oadamo

    nice, you have a good selection there. being from the uk i cant find any box like that over here. i like the way the sockets just drop over the pins, i hate the socket rails that lock them on there a pain.

    While doing phone technical support on a fairly complicated piece of equipment I had a field tech ask me if he need a Plus or Minus screwdriver, WHAT? A Plus or Minus. ..oh you mean Standard or Phillips? Well, I guess but which one? None put your tools back in the box and leave the site

    John Deere has this one just with their logo but it’s the same and every store has different prices on them especially old inventory that hasn’t had prices updated. $650 old price $799 new price. Call different stores.

    Thanks for the tour of your tool rig.

    What do those sockets look like after you hit a hard bump in the road?

    • @Spyke383
      @Spyke383  3 года назад

      They don't move. The pegs the wrenchs and socket are on sit against the lid when it's closed. I've jumped the truck with them in there and everything stayed.
